For a long while, I started this off by ranting about how I loathe
these "tell us a bit about yourself" things. However, I've come to
feel that beginning that way was a tad abrasive, so now I think
I'll kick things off with a bit of self-penned prose.
"Your 'pious' men are wicked, yet we heathens are humble. We, the
godless, are pure. Your 'righteous' men are corrupt. When the Days
of Truth are upon us, where will you stand as man judges his own
immortal soul?"
That roughly sums up my feelings about life and how to live it.
Now, getting into the basic "about me" stuff, I've lived here in
Lake Mary for the past four years, but I often visit my hometown of
Clermont about forty miles southwest. I'm generally happy with
where I am in life. I'm a fairly laid back guy who's not really
looking for anything in particular and I have a tendency to let a
lot of things just fall where they may and life has a way of
sorting itself out for me. I like a lot of "at home" things like
video games, reading, watching movies, and the like, but I do enjoy
getting out and having some fun with friends every once in a
while.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As a heads up before anything else, I'm currently in a polyamorous
relationship
Saebree.
This isn't the same thing as an open relationship and I'm not just
looking to get laid a lot (though one can only hope, eh?). I hope
this info won't put off anyone who might be interested, but I feel
the need to be upfront about something this big.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As one of those three little adjectives points out, I do a lot of
deep thinking and I have a tendency to ask really random,
philosophical or otherwise poignant questions out of the blue. I'm
a good listener and help friends talk through their problems on a
fairly regular basis. I can be a deeply romantic and sensitive guy
and I'm fiercely loyal to those closest to me.
Take note here, I am both a geek and a nerd (though I'm not sure
which applies more), but I lack most of the social ineptitude of
being a dork (other than not being overly social on the whole). As
stated before, I loves me some video games, both console and PC,
and I am also a fan of the following:
anime, many weird things on the intarwebz
(from Numa Numa to LOLcats, I love it all),
Dungeons &
Dragons and role-playing in general, the
furry fandom (not a fursuiter, mostly just
a huge fan of anthropomorphic art/animation), and
Star Wars. Any of these topics
equals a good conversation starter in my book (that, or busting out
some awesome philosophical ramble!).
------------------------------------------------------------
WARNING: In addition to everything stated above, and as an open,
upfront admission, I AM A SEVERE PERVERT! However, I am NOT going
to focus every conversation on sex and I WILL NOT message you in
the attempts to get it. If you WANT to talk about it, I'm more than
willing. I find the psychology of sex, sexuality, and, in fact, sex
itself fascinating. Also, if YOU are wanting the sexings, I won't
necessarily say "no" flat out, but I really like to get to know
people first. Mostly-anonymous sex isn't my thing, regardless of
how much I love the act. In summary, if I'm sending you a message,
it's probably because I find you interesting and want to learn more
about you.
------------------------------------------------------------
Well, I'm going to leave it at that. If there's anything else you
want to know that my profile can't tell you, you'll just have to
ask me yourself.
Well, I'm honestly not sure what this is asking for, so I'll try to
say it all. On the whole, my ultimate goal in life is happiness. I
know that seems obvious, but a lot of people don't get what that
means. Regardless, when I'm happy, I'm happy. When I'm NOT happy, I
do what I can to fix the situation. When it can't be fixed by me, I
step back and utilize the "let the pieces fall where they may"
approach and everything works out.
For some relatively short-term specifics, I'm focusing on paying
off some debts that I have that were mostly incurred by a failed
relationship. My other prime goal is to get in shape and lose some
weight that I've put on in the last few years. I had a short stint
at a community college a few years back, but I do intend to pursue
higher learning, even if it's just taking courses I'm interested
in.
As far as long-term goals are concerned, I may not be alive
tomorrow, so I find that planning more than a few years ahead is a
little silly. Also, I am not the type of person who really desires
riches or fame. I wouldn't complain if I landed in the big bucks,
but money is little more than a tool and is not my key to
happiness, and fame seems annoying for the most part. As long as I
have the money to survive and to allow me to buy the things that I
want and time enough to enjoy those things, I don't really care
much beyond that.

Food: vegans and PETA members should stop reading right now,
because nothing quite beats an excellently prepared prime rib.
Otherwise, I LOVE Asian food and always enjoy a good salad. I do
enjoy fast food (how American) and am a soda addict, Dr. Pepper by
preference. Mac'n'cheese is always delicious, bacon and eggs is the
best start to any day, and I can always make time for a cup of good
coffee.

6. The quantity (pencil + paper)

love includes romantic, platonic, and familial.)
Existence, where I fit into it, what it all means, and sex. Honesty
is the best policy, and Freud would be proud.
Either home or out.
I'm not just listing myself as bisexual to seem "interesting". I
actually have been intimate with other guys before and I do find
men attractive.
...you want to. In addition to messaging me on here, my email is
krowedarken@yahoo.com and, for faster contact, I am krowedarken on
both AIM and YIM. I'm almost constantly online, so shoot me an IM
whenever you feel like it.
NOTICE: To any gents looking to message me, I'm not looking for a
partner of my own gender at the moment. While the above stated
remark about being attracted to guys is true, I've been hurt deeply
by a guy in my past and am generally more attracted to females.
Thus I am VERY picky about men. I'm open to the possibility, and
would consider a relationship, but I'm certainly not looking to
just "hook up". That fact applies to BOTH genders.
All that said, I'm up for anything from the occasional online chat
to meeting up for coffee, lunch, dinner, whatever. Hell, if you're
just BORED, drop me a line. I'll probably respond. If nothing else,
I'm always in the mood for new friends (awwwww!)(...sarcasm).
