My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I make my own biscotti and I know a lot about myths.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
It's ok, I work.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Well, my main party trick involves spinning theories involving evolutionary ecology and/or Republicans.

Fighting kitchen entropy.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
People think I'm from Oregon, but I'm not.

Here's my tell: For a long after coming to California I still said arnge juice. That no longer was a problem after I stopped really drinking orange juice.

Edit - people probably don't think like this anymore, I cut my hair.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books: Lonesome Dove, Wallace Stegner and increasingly stuff from his Fellows, Peter Carey, Graham Robb, Rick Bass, and sometimes Matt Ridley. I find I really enjoy non-fiction books that are basically long concatenations of mini-biographies like "The Prize" and "Lawrence in Arabia". I used to write historical fiction involving mopey US presidents, and then I turned them into podcasts, and then I forgot about them until now as I promote them again.

Movies/Music: A Mighty Wind
Snark aside, I've watched a lot of movies and am a really great listener! Also I have an IMDB and I really like the Eels.

TV: If you listen carefully, about 10% of what I say is originally from either Futurama or Arrested Development. The rest is from Charlie Rose. Probably relevant - I had a crush on Bri from Master Chef Season 4.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What question I answered that qualified me as "less kind."
F*** that algorithm.

Interesting...I am now "more kind". I am pretty certain that flip resulted after answering one additional question: I said I liked to watch documentaries. I think that may have also made me less ambitious.
