Talking about one-self is quite the pressure situation. :) You don't want to be exaggerative, nor do you want to be self-deprecating. Most terms that come to mind seem cliche.

I'm not the center of attention, but the more you seek the more you'll discover. I have high standards for others, but make no mistake, I judge myself with an even harsher set of rules.

I'm here to date, for a serious relationship, and let's not mince words: I hope to meet someone that I'll eventually spend the rest of my life with. I feel that a real connection must work on many levels, intellectually, romantically, physically and.. there's a certain aspect that's intangible. One of those things you know... when you know.

Planning. Plotting. Deciding on things. I like to have a combination of carefully laid plans in combination with some freedom for flexibility and spontaneity. Sometimes things come up, and if every moment is too much of a regimen you might miss interesting opportunities that can show up unexpectedly.

My work life has taken me in interesting directions. I've recently found a position that's interesting, diverse and challenges me to learn more all the time.

I have a varied set of interesting talents. I'm a bit of a geek, so technology has always been a forte. I'm incredibly patient with anyone who wants to help. I'm kind, caring and compassionate with people who I can see are genuinely in need and who appreciate it and show gratitude. I'm an accomplished saxophone player.

They usually don't... :)

I'm not loud. I'm not the center of attention. I don't make a fuss, nor really want to always have my say. But, that's because I chose my words carefully. I like to speak when I have something to add.

I really enjoyed "I am a Strange Loop" by Douglas Hofstadter. A bit of a slow start, but the latter portion had me enthralled!

One of my (still) favourite movies is Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I'm not a fan of Jim Carey movies, but he was quite good in this one. Or perhaps it's merely that both his character and the movie itself speak to me on many levels.

As far as television, I don't watch too much, though "the Newsroom" recently caught my attention. Some fantastic story-telling, great acting and intelligent subject matter came together wonderfully.

I'm a big listener of Jazz, being a saxophone player myself, but I have an appreciation for all good music.

I spend time thinking about everything. There is rarely a moment of the day when I'm not contemplating one thing or another and usually it's several things all at once.

Sometimes they're trivial things, but most of the time they're thoughts of substance. Whether related to what I'm doing, or things I'm planning on doing. Both in the short-term and long term planning. Sometimes reminiscing about the past, and other times contemplating future endeavors. Really.. sometimes the issue is making my mind stop. Usually to finally try and fall asleep!

I do enjoy sharing my thoughts so people can understand where I'm coming from. If my answers seem absurd or off-hand, I'm sure there was a substantial amount of contemplation and analysis that went into them, so let me explain.

That if I look innocent and naive on the outside... the facade has worked. :)
