My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Part-time adult, full-time dance machine.

Born in New York, educated in Scotland, and planning to die on Mars. I'm passionate about karaoke, bad jokes, good movies, and sweet potato fries.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Making it up as I go. In the mean time, being a production assistant extraordinaire, along with the occasional forays into improv comedy.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I pride myself on my ability to put a comforter inside a duvet cover with a minimal amount of hassle.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
A survey of my friends produced the following results:

1. Lop-sided smile
2. Hand gestures
3. Conan O'Brien
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Movies: I'm a big film nerd, and I'm equally happy watching some so-bad-it's-good masterpiece like The Room as I am watching the best of the Criterion Collection.

Books: It's easier to pick authors instead of individual books, so here goes (this changes all the time): Haruki Murakami, Patton Oswalt, David Sedaris, Edgar Rice Burroughs, John Scalzi, James S.A. Corey, Aziz Ansari, Alan Moore, and Kim Stanley Robinson.

Music: I'm terrible at finding new music, so please send some recommendations. Right now, my computers loaded with a mix of clicjhe hipster-y stuff like Phosphorescent, Bleachers, LCD Soundsystem, Stars, Chromatics, and Anamanaguchi, alongside classics like David Bowie, Bruce Springsteen, and Prince. Whatever the occasion, I'm always down to listen some cheesy pop or a little 90's hip hop.

TV: I'm off my TV game, but I do try and keep up with Game of Thrones, Broad City, Fresh Off the Boat, True Detective, Parks and Rec (RIP), and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Food: Basically anything and everything. I love cooking, currently venturing into some experiments with Indian food.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Wallet
2. Phone
3. Keys
4. Metrocard
5. Watch
6. A nice pair of argyle socks
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Whether regular dogs, when they see Police dogs, think "Oh shit, it's the cops!"
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
My work schedule is a little crazy (living that TV production life), so Friday can range from a late night shoot, drinks with friends, catching a show at UCB, or staying in and catching up on some reading.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I once (accidentally) crashed a funeral. It was just as awkward as it sounds.

On top of that, I was also personally involved in one of the biggest flops in Hollywood history.

If you live your life by the saying "Any pizza can be a personal pizza if you try hard and believe in yourself."

That, or maybe you've got your act together (or at least pretend to). Maybe you've got a favorite Karaoke song, or feel like getting lost in the Museum of Natural History some idle Sunday.
