My self-summary
Any pizza can be a personal pizza if you try hard and believe in yourself.

Born in New York, educated in Scotland, living in Brooklyn, and planning to die on Mars. I'm passionate about karaoke, good movies, bad jokes, and other unimportant stuff. I'm love learning new things, and like to share random anecdotes and facts with my friends all the time (I am amazing at bar trivia, true story).
What I’m doing with my life
Production assistant extraordinaire.

That, and the occasional foray into improv comedy and open mic storytelling.
I’m really good at
I love cooking, there's nothing quite like the satisfaction of giving yourself exactly what you want, when you want it, how you want it.

I'm also pretty amazing at putting a comforter inside of a duvet cover with a minimal amount of hassle.
The first things people usually notice about me
I polled my friends and the results were:

1. Lop-sided smile
2. Agressive hand gestures
3. Conan O'Brien

So, uh, those?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Movies! I love movies, and my favorites range from ridiculous trash like The Room and Miami Connection to the best of the Criterion Collection.

Books! It's easier for me to pick favorite authors than favorite books, so here goes (though this changes all the time): Ray Bradbury, Haruki Murakami, Patton Oswalt, Ursula K. LeGuin, David Sedaris, Edgar Rice Burroughs, Yukio Mishima, and Kim Stanley Robinson. Right now I'm working my way through "Live From New York", the oral history of SNL.

I'm also a big fan of comic books/graphic novels, so anything by Neil Gaiman, Alan Moore, or Grant Morrison is right up my alley. I've just gotten in to Brian K. Vaughn's "Saga" and it's blowing my mind.

Music! A lot of it's terrible hipster-y stuff like Phosphorescent, St. Vincent, LCD Soundsystem, Andrew WK, The Naked and Famous, Oingo Boingo, Tegan and Sara, Stars, Chromatics, David Bowie, Anamanaguchi, tUnE-yArDs, and Grouplove, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't always down to listen to a good movie score, some cheesy pop, or a little 90's (East Coast) hip hop.

TV! Despite working in TV, I don't end up watching that much of it. That said I do try and make time for Parks and Recreation, Community, Doctor Who, Peep Show, Bob's Burgers, Girls, The Legend of Korra, and It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia.

Podcasts! How Did This Get Made? Harmontown, The Indoor Kids, and Comedy Bang Bang. I feel like I've just scratched the surface when it comes to Podcasts, so hit me with some suggestions.

Food! Basically anything and everything. Fish Tacos and Pad Thai are my jam.
The six things I could never do without
Obviously the essentials:
- Keys
- Wallet
- Phone
- Metrocard
- Watch
- A Nice Pair Of Argyle Socks
On a typical Friday night I am
Could be anything from catching a show at UCB, grabbing drinks with some friends, or hitting up a Karaoke in Williamsburg. I like to keep things loose and let plans just come together as they do.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm not really a fan of "The Breakfast Club".

I once (accidentally) crashed a funeral.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys

  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
You've got a sense of humor about this whole online dating thing, and don't take yourself that seriously. You're super into some amazing thing and can't wait to talk about it. You feel like getting lost in the Museum of Natural History some idle Sunday. You've got a go-to Karaoke song and you're ready to show off.
