My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I love to laugh. It's important. If you can't laugh, then what's the point? You always have to see the lighter side of life. Most times you can't do much else at the time, so why stress out about it? Seriously, have fun! Chuckle at the ironies you see. Make a nerdy movie reference.

Also, get nerdy. Harry Potter, Star Trek, Robert Frost, Shakespeare, it really doesn't matter what, just love something so much that it can be seen as obsessive. The more shit you can nerd out over, the better. Then you should teach me about it. There is so much cool stuff out there that I know nothing about. Why, just recently I learned about a little expo called spx and was blown back by how many indie comic artists/writers there are and how I knew none of them.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am in between jobs while designing games on the side.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making obscure and not so obscure jokes and nerd references.

Shuffling piles of cardboard that are worth more than your laptop.

Jamming a joystick in the corner and mashing buttons in a rhythmic pattern.

Dressing up as fictional characters and having people take my picture at large gatherings.

Beating up nerds with PVC pipes wrapped in foam and duct tape.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I can't not be a total dork. Also I tend to have a very optimistic/positive outlook on everything.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Game of Thrones is too amazing for words. Arrested Development was the best show on TV and Futurama (Archer CLOSE SECOND) was the best cartoon. I also used to be into anime a few years back. I still keep up with a few new shows from time to time if my friends (who usually hate most anime) tell me it's good.

I enjoy good movies everyone knows (Scarface, Memento) and good movies not everyone knows (Talk to Her, 2046). I also have a lot of fun watching terrible movies with my friends (Flesh Gordon, Elvira, The Thing With Two Heads). If I had discovered how much I enjoyed studying film at an earlier age I would most likely be doing something in that.

I don't read. I should but I don't. I hang around a lot of people that do and have learned to passively absorb their literary knowledge into my own.

I have a fairly wide taste in music. Cloud Cult is one of the best bands you have never heard of (Look them up, seriously, you'll thank me), heavy metal bands like Kamelot and Eluveitie are great (I just got introduced to Krypteria and they are phenomenal) and trance/techno/dance/house/noise music like DJ Tiesto, Daft Punk, Global Deejays, Swedish House Mafia and deadmau5 are all wonderful.

UPDATE: Zedd's Clarity is my new music obsession

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Friends, internet, TV, music, pizza, breaking boundaries, plastic, ChapStick, graph paper, money, Jack Sparrow, blue, 76* weather, gravity, cactus, packing peanuts, three shoelaces tied to a lamp, suction cups, March 23 1962, couch change, mole people, anti-time, bees, green skies, up-side-down kittens, car keys, parrots, loud voices, flying sheep, MAHVEL, Elmer's glue, SPF 30 sunblock, the musical episode of Buffy, NERF weaponry. Probably a few more things that I am not aware of that would cause the world to collapse if they did not exist.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The problem with comic books is the ink comes right off the page. Every time you turn the page you have to go wash your hands. You turn the page, you wash your hands. Turn the page, wash your hands. Turn the page, wash your hands. And then you turn the page, and then you wash your hands.

Wondering what real adults do for fun instead of playing video games and quoting Archer. I think they like to do wine tasting or food watching or something.

Also making lots and lots of dick jokes.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
With my friends playing table top role playing games.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm a very open person. AMA!

All I'm really looking for is a girl who I can sit on a couch and play games with, sit across each other from a table and role play with and hold in bed and watch Doctor Who with.

You also get lots of points if you can guess what each hobby in the "I'm really good at" section is!
