Hi everyone! I'm a girl that likes to laugh. I like jokes though I don't tell them well. I love theater-RENT, Aida, and West Side Story are some faves. I love love love to read. I like tessellations, fractals, and the Fibonacci sequence. I'm competitive and like playing board games like Cranium. I'm open-minded and adaptable. I'm as comfortable at the opera as I am a football game, and like both. I like to have fun. I am the hottest nerdy Black chick you'll probably ever meet :)

What I'm doing- enjoying life! I work retail and design jewelry. I write as much as possible and love community theater.

Procrastinating lol. Making gorgeous jewelry. Occasionally singing off-key (the 'occasionally' may be optimistic). Sleeping and having fun crazy dreams. Doing what I want to do. I'm really bad at doing things I don't like to do.

My smile. I tend to get a lot of compliments on it. My hair. My boobs LOL Gotta be honest, right?

My favorite authors are Nora Roberts, Neil Gaiman, John Sandford, Thomas Perry, Carol O'Connell, Shakespeare. I love mysteries, fantasy, and romance. Yeah, I like fluff- wanna make something of it? To Kill a Mockingbird, Their Eyes Were Watching God, Watership Down, The Year of Magical Thinking, Molokai. The last two almost broke my heart they were so sad and beautiful. Lots of others.

As for movies, at the end of the day I'm just another LOTR nerd :) Others favs are Sex in the City, Godfather 1 and 2, Clue, Run Lola Run, and The Usual Suspects. I'm definitely more on the fluff side with movies. I'm trying to broaden my horizon via Netflix w/ documentaries and indie movies I never heard of before.

My music tastes are also a mixed bag. I love the Dixie Chicks, Linkin Park, Prince, Mana, Deep Forest, Rosana, musicals, Good Charlotte, Ani Difranco, and New Edition among others. I'll give most anything a try though I'm not a huge fan of jazz, techno, blues...but I'm willing to take things on a case by case basis before dismissing an entire genre.

TV- I don't have tv right now and NO, I'm not one of those hipster nazis who think it's cool to say that b/c tv is so bad bad bad & intellectually beneath them. That annoys the *$%^% out of me! That being said when I did have cable I didn't watch tv that much. I like: Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Income Properties, Forensic Files, CSIs, Flashforward, Charmed, Angel, Thundercats, Quantum Leap, Voltron, Robot Chicken, ST Next Generation.

I love food. Especially good food prepared by other people.

My sisters. Books. A cozy bed. Great sex. Alone time. Music.

My future.

Either having fun with my girls or relaxing with a good book and a glass of wine.

I love my own company. I like spending a lot of time alone. That being said, it really sucks to feel lonely when my own company is generally enough.
