Life continues to amuse , fascinate and befuddle.

First of all let me say that, as a Canadian, I'm very happy that you Yanks elected the right man for the job again... Congratulations !

I haven't been active on here for a while , life (and especially work !) had gotten in the way of my search . But here I am, back again and looking forward to meeting someone new.

I'm single, sane and happy. Pretty artsy by nature. I'm perhaps most happy when traveling and seeing the world. I love a good museum, and sites of antiquity . But music has been my constant joy in life, I'm never happier than when I see great live music... especially when I'm surprised by an unknown talent. I'm outgoing, somewhat gregarious, very affectionate ( With the right person) , trusting and trust worthy. I'm a great cook and love to plot elaborate dinners for friends and relatives.

A good listener, sort of my profession really. Silverlaker, quasi-hipster. Canadian by birth and nature. Gets startled every once in a while when he realizes that Los Angeles is on the ocean .... I love the great outdoors but seldom get there , I would like to change that situation.
Politically I'm very, very Liberal .. but always very happy to listen to other points of view . However, it's rather hard to convince me that the well paid don't owe their fair share to society. I'm a Lapsed Catholic, very suspicious of most organized religions. I do however believe in the boundless spirit of Humanity and it's limitless potential. I believe in the basic goodness of individuals and will treat anyone with the respect and admiration they deserve.

I'm looking for a sane , single , happy woman. Someone who is open, trustworthy and affectionate.

I still think that Jack Benny was the funniest person who has ever walked on the planet.

You have a really good sense of humor ... silliness will not be considered a character flaw.
You can deal with a small bar and loud music on occasion.
You can have a drink once in a while and not feel that you are an alcoholic.
The prospect of watching a silent film doesn't make you uncomfortable and/or prone to bouts of uncontrollable sarcastic giggling.
