My self-summary
Hello! My name's Mike. I am a huge Gamer, as well as a geek/nerd. As my username implies, I'm a pretty big Star Wars fan. I am a member of the 501st Legion, Legion Number 3724, I currently have an Imperial Officer uniform, I also have a set of Stormtrooper armor that I've been slowly putting together over the last few years. I love out local Cons, I've been to everyone we've had so far and look forward to many, many more! I'm a pretty big PC Gamer. I love strategy, RPG, Shooters, and MMO are some of my favorite genres. I also do enjoy console gaming, I just don't currently own one. I'm a major history buff, particularly military history with World War 2 being my specialty. Animals are a big passion of mine. I personally own 10 Society Finches(I bought four!) a cockatiel, while my family owns two Zebra Finches, two Dogs, two cats, a rabbit, and four chickens. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Being Mormon is not always easy for me, and not always what I want to be, and I am far from perfect, but ultimately I do believe. I've had few major experiences that make it so I can never deny the Church, trust me I've tried, and am working on making my back.

In short, I'm just looking for some new friends, Online or IRL, with the possibility of meeting my Player 2 (or I can be Player 2. I don't mind)
What I’m doing with my life
Living it and loving it! My primary goals for this year are to get a job and my own place, with a secondary of trying to become more active and get into better shape.
I’m really good at
I have a very good memory. My family sometimes teases me, calling me Reid (After Dr. Spencer Reid from Criminal Minds) because I remember the most random and love to learn.
The first things people usually notice about me
My Beard! Or at least that's what I hope, for I love my beard. My personality also seems to be a big one. You know that saying "people who don't know me think I'm quiet, people who do know my wish I'd shut up." Yeah, that pretty much fits me to a T
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Horatio Hornblower, Michael Vey, Wheel of Time, Harry Potter, and a lot more than I'm willing to list and you are likely willing to read. I also really like non-fiction books, particularly history.

Shows: Top Gear (UK). Girls und Panzer, Criminal Minds, Documentaries

Movies: Star Wars, Marvel, Hunt For The Red October, and again Documentaries

Music: Great Big Sea is my favorite band, but I also like Flogging Molly, The Young Dubliners, Gaelic Storm, and Weird Al.

Food: Meat! Seriously, if I could be just a carnivore I probably would do it. I also really like sushi.
The six things I could never do without
A good book.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
History and Politics. I'm very interested in what has, is, and will happen to this planet and it's inhabitants. I also tell myself lots of stories. I sometimes like to share them often wonder about writing them down.
On a typical Friday night I am
Hanging out with friends or family. If not that then playing games, watching Netflix, or reading.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm a pretty open person, so it's more of a question of what I'm not willing to admit. The three things that I feel most relevant for here are

1: I do not have a degree and have no plans to pursue higher education at this point in time. I believe learning is important and am constantly striving to increase my knowledge, but I feel that a college/university environment would not be healthy for me and my disabilities. Which brings us to my second point

2: I deal with several mental disabilities (or special abilities as my therapist like to put it) including Autism. I am a huge believer in Neurodiversity. While Autism come with many challenges make it hard to function in society in so called "normal" ways, I feel that my Autism is the source of some of my biggest strengths. I'm different from most people, but different is OK. and finally

3: I am not here to play games. If I message you, that means that I've put forth what for me is a rather significant amount time and energy to initiate contact. This is not easy for, in fact it's down right terrifying for me. So please write me back if at all possible, and I will strive to do the same. Remember, me messaging you isn't a proposal. I'm not asking you on a date. I'm not expecting you to become my wife, girlfriend. I am simply saying that I think you are a cool person and that there might be a possibility we could be friends. If you don't feel the same, let me know. But please, please don't ignore. That hurts much more than rejection.
You should message me if
You actually read all of this! Seriously, if you did, congratulations! That's awesome!

Also: If you are compassionate, kind, understanding, and think you can handle as someone as epic as me :)
