My self-summary
In high school I had my whole life planned out. Today, I'm so glad life had a different plan! Even though I'm still on the same path I imagined, I just take things one day at a time and try to enjoy each day as much as possible.

I believe that finding a partner in life is one of the most important decisions one makes, and that kinda scares me. Well, why not be honest?

I still don’t have everything figured out, but time keeps flying, so why waste it. Most people say that college years are the best years of your life. Well, for me it’s the other way around. THIS is the best year of my life! And I plan on being able to say that every year for the rest of my life.

So far, I think I’ve kept a pretty good track record. This is not to say that they were easy years, but they were pretty awesome. To get the details, you’ll have to ask.

I'm definitely not a shy person, and by now, I have a pretty good idea of what I’m looking for, so I don’t plan on wasting time. No hard feelings. I believe that almost any two people can make it work, but when you find the right person, it will be a lot easier than it would with the rest.

Even though I love my career and it’s a big part of my life, I will always try to put my relationships first. I’m looking for someone who can honestly say the same.

I’m very close to my family and have a few close friends. It’s hard work, but I love making the effort, because those great moments are so worth it!

I would say that I’m a very rational person, but I’m also capable of strong emotions, even though I will always follow my brain over my heart. I'm learning to trust my gut, which is somewhere in the middle, I guess.

I love the middle road, because it makes the most sense to me, and you will learn that I try to take it in almost every aspect of my life. I usually hate extremes, but I have learned to embrace a few. Life is not worth living without a few thrills now and then.

I’m very environmentally conscious. I love nature and the outdoors, and really want to find someone who does as well. Suggest almost any outdoor activity and I’m there!

I'm also health conscious. I plan on living for as long as possible, so that I can enjoy as much of the beauty and adventure as this world has to offer. As a result, I try to maintain a healthy diet and an active lifestyle. I started doing strength training and cross-fit, and also do yoga to keep it all balanced.

I have strong views on life, politics and religion, but I keep an open mind and love having intellectual conversations, especially when I get exposed to other points of view I never considered before. I am a very positive person, but I'm also a realist.

My hope for life is to enjoy my work, spend lots of time with family and friends, get the most out of life on my free time, travel and learn about other cultures, and make a positive contribution for future generations.

I feel like I’ve said so much and not nearly enough, but I guess for now, it’s your turn.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm an architectural designer, working towards my license... and having a blast in the meantime!
I’m really good at
seeing the big picture, planning, patience, problem solving, but most importantly, having fun!
The first things people usually notice about me
I've been told it's my smile. I tend to smile all the time, sometime, too much, I think. But I believe this is one case where too much is way better than not enough.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I mostly like classic rock, but almost anything with a good melody and beat will do. My all time favorite show is Friends and How I Met your Mother, but I've added a few others since then. I love historical or action/adventure movies. Don't like horror/scary films.
I read a variety of books, from educational to just plain silly, but my favorites are historical and current novels based on real life experiences. I just finished Bossypants by Tina Fey and am currently reading a book written by a Slovakian comic.
As far as food is concerned, I'm a big fan! I try to maintain a healthy, balanced diet in general, but love trying new things and flavors.
The six things I could never do without
I think I'm pretty resourceful and adopt pretty easily, so instead, I'll list the 6 things I value the most.
1. My family
2. My friends
3. My health
4. My independence
5. Fresh air / the outdoors
6. Art / Culture
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I'm pretty philosophical, so I guess I ponder the basic life's big questions quite a bit. What do I need to do to be happy and make others around me happy? How can I make the world a little bit of a better place for future generations?
Although, I can be pretty selfish sometime, in which case it would be: What's the next delicious thing I will eat and what's the next fun thing I will do? :)
On a typical Friday night I am
Having dinner and drinks with my coworkers after a golf game, or out at a bar, playing pool.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Let's save this one for when we're actually getting to know each other face to face.
