I am not afraid of spiders, snakes, snapping turtles, or bugs. If
you are I will call you wuss. I have had the following pets: baby raccoon, baby squirrel, snapping turtle (he lived in my baby pool and my dad let me feed him hot dogs), red eared slider, baby birds, and sugar gliders. Yes, I kept them where I lived in Northern Virginia although many of those animals are illegal to have there. Currently, I have one cat.
I have traveled extensively outside the United States. Guatemala, Costa Rica, Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, and Colombia. I did some of the traveling alone and I was never kidnapped! Who would have thought.
Don't tell me I can't do something because it will only force me to have to do it.
I ate Guinea in Peru but it was not as "delicioso" as everyone said it was.
I speak Spanish
I am extremely sarcastic but I tend to hide it until I get to know
people better. When I first meet people I am actually really shy
but once you get to know me people can't believe that I can be
shy.
I read a lot! If you have not read a book in the last month please don't bother. I love talking about books and discussing them and people making suggestions on what I should read next.
Currently, I'm reading The Full Montezuma by Peter Moore
Physics of the Impossible by Michio Kaku -- (If you don't know who this author is you must not watch the science channel or discovery because those are my favorite networks when I do watch tv.) House of Leaves by Mark. Z Danielewski
I don't have a favorite author and genre cause I will read almost anything.
I love listening to NPR and reading BBC news. I have a monthly subscription to Science Illustrated. Sometimes people think I BS a lot because I know so many little pieces of factual information.
I am laid back, independent and looking for an adventure.
