My self-summary
I recently graduated with my BS in ocean engineering from FAU and I just landed a job as a systems engineer for a marine technology company. I just moved here from Florida and am looking to meet new people who share similar interests.

While I was in school I built robots and raced human powered submarines. My senior design project was a robot cuttlefish (biomimetic station keeping vessel) which you can kind of see in one of my photos on here. In my free time back in Florida I did a lot of mountain biking, scuba diving, and camping. I never had a chance (or the funds) to travel just for the heck of it but I did get to go on an internship where I was at sea for 35 days and finished our mission in the Azores. I also got to go to England for the International Submarine Races so I can't say I'm totally travel deprived. Hopefully more trips will come once I get some time off from work (all recommendations are welcome).
What I’m doing with my life
Enjoying the break between graduation and starting my new job. Diving most days. Programming and exercising the other days.

I've managed to go down to the Keys for a couple of weekends which is always a lot of fun.

Once I start at my job I'm sure my routine is going to change.
I’m really good at
Messing around with electronics. I've only set one robot on fire.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Food: Seafood
The six things I could never do without
Refraction
Bicycle

Boats
The sound proof force field that my car provides for my terrible singing.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have a crippling fear of heights. Still want to go skydiving though.
