I'm anything but laid back. I'm slow to warm up emotionally, but eventually, when I trust someone, I'm intense and passionate. My very staccato and polar opposite upbringing and life experiences have helped me see things from so many different vantage points. As you can see from my pics, I'm a bit eccentric and have a zany sense of humor...but I need it to balance the other part of me, the serious, multifaceted, talented and educated go getter. I'm an Armani man one day and a rollerskating Buck Rogers the next, with a few other styles the rest of the week. My passions are creation, art, design, mechanics, robotics, science, chemistry, the environment, learning, exploring, traveling, working with my mind AND hands, helping others and trying to squeeze every drop out of life the day has to offer. That doesn't mean I run 180% all the time, I do have down days when I want to relax, naps are common. I want more than just a pretty girl on my arm, I want an energetic, positive, self aware girl who values education, wisdom, experience, how to dress like a fashionista one day and a motorhead/shop/trail hiker/yoga girl the next...and if you don't like at least a couple of the following: exploring, traveling, cooking, trying new foods/things, hikes, trail runs, rock climbing, swimming, the sun or having more fun than just clubbing...I might get bored. I also love to entertain and enjoy hosting and co-hosting parties and get-togethers when possible. There is so much to life and I want someone who wants to reach and explore it all with me, not someone who wants me to buy two tickets to Vegas for a week or the "New Years" package deal at local night club. I want to spend New Years on the highest rooftop, mountain top or something interesting like that...we can still dress like Bond and Bond girl, but we may have his and hers champagne bottles and flasks:)

I'm a self employed space designer/furniture maker/engineer/designer/inventor who went back to school to learn medicine through the ACE BSN program at Drexel. Upon March 2013 graduation I want to add all I have learned together and work in both design and medicine. Eventually, once I learn enough about what is missing, I plan to start developing new gadgets, spaces, techniques for the medical field and also take some of those good ideas already out there and use for the residential or commercial space in need of a very new way to interact with its dweller/patrons. My long term dream is to develop green structures for living and self sustaining green resorts around the world. Planning trips or adventures, Napping, backrubs, making you smile when you're sooo mad at me, stealing cheese or olives when the bartender isn't looking, boondoggling, sharing stories about all the weird and interesting things I've experienced, swimming, getting my way but making you think it was your idea;) ...but when awake: Problem solving, design, layouts, flow evaluation, audio, furniture, daydreaming in my shop with sketchpad or making something with wood, concrete or some metal and my welder, Fixing almost anything from cars, to electronics, to people (I know the people part is kind of exaggerating;) But I love to work with my hands, guided by my senses...and I LOVE to cook and entertain as well.

I guess my looks, or my smile. Usually I'm doing SOMETHING, so that often draws people closer. I have eyebrows that make statements without me even knowing, big brown eyes, dimples and larger than average lips.

Richard Neutra, Mies van der Rohe, Frank L Wright, Phillipe Starck and pretty much anything Julius Shulman took pics of. I studied under Karim Rashid for Industrial Design, so as you can tell, I'm a design, science and architecture nerd. I also love treehouses, handbuilt shelters made from trees, sticks and vines when I'm in the environment for them.
Movies and Shows:
Blade Runner, mostly anything by David Cronenberg, Stanley Kubrick, Andrew Niccol, Director Ridley Scott, although pretty much anything SciFi deserves a shot in my book. I loved The Royal Tenenbaums and Napoleon Dynamite, those types of movies, Take Me Home Tonight, Hot Tub Time Machine and most anything with John Cusak . Also, I'm a big fan of environmental films, post apocalyptic stories...kind of anything that talks about what would happen when the way we do things has passed the point of "has to stop" and it just does. Also, instructional type shows like cooking, do it your-selfer shows, building green and of course who doesn't wish they could switch places with Bear Grylls (I definitely would in a heartbeat!)
Music:
My listening preferences change often, but I like many artists and types: Miles Davis, Sade, Thievery Corporation, Mos Def, NAS, 50 Cent, Jay-Z, DeadMaus, MSTRKFT, Moby, Jazzanova, Goldfrapp, Concord Dawn, Aphrodite (d&b), Fred Everything, Maxxi Soundsystem, Guns and Roses, She Wants Revenge, Depeche Mode, Lily Allen, The Beatles, Simon and Garfunkle, recently rediscovered Paul Simon thanks to a friend...Salsa, Latin or Brazilian like Eve Medes, reggaeton, classical piano...yeah everything but barrel drum circus music (the kind they play at carnivals), thats just too creepy.

If I'm not working, anything from happy hour with friends, karaoke, entertaining in my loft, finding a place to go dancing or just chillin to some netflix.

You are tall or like high enough heels to get close to my height (which isnt really that tall), are an open communicator, have your own great stories to share, enjoy sarcasm, have a good sense of humor that can be dark at times, you can hold your own, can put up with the occasional drama ( I am a Pisces/Aquarian-cusper after all ;), are willing to change your mind or at least be open to other opinions, you have quick wit and can see humor in almost everything and you like adventurous, energetic, fun, goofy, sometimes strange, creative, hands on, multifaceted, intelligent men...or in this case, me:)
