Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am enjoying life a lot these days! I grew up here, but am getting
out and seeing more of the bay than ever before. I'm really late to
the game, but I just discovered Baker Beach a few months ago, and
only yesterday I took the drive up the hill on the Marin side to
view the Golden Gate from that side.
I dabble in lots of activities, but don't focus on a specific
interest/hobby. I like to go out to dinner or for drinks. I am more
likely to be at a bar earlier in the evening, before it gets super
crowded and loud. I am equally at home having a drink at an
obscure, divey bar (hello Warehouse; points if you know where that
is), or having a glass of wine at a wine bar, or nice restaurant. I
like a good filet as well as a good salad. Walks and hikes are
nice, but I prefer a nice bike ride...even if that ride is just to
brunch and back. :)
My friends are pretty awesome, and I enjoy entertaining them at my
house. I like to be the Hostess with the Mostest at least once a
month: game nights, poker nights, ladies' wine day, etc.
Life is good, but I am looking for a partner in crime whose company
I enjoy. I like to laugh and share in adventures. ;)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm savoring the relationships in my life; my nephew and family,
old friends, and new friends. In general, I'm working and enjoying
life with my friends and family.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Taking care of business...every day...

I'm really good at never knowing who sings a song that is playing.

Just enjoyed Mr. Penumbra's 24-Hour Book Store; set in SF. I most
enjoy memoirs, thrillers, and historical fiction. I recently read
"Wild..., by Cheryl Strayed" (awesome!) and 11/22/63, by Stephen
King (slightly sci-fi, and a little trippy.)
Currently plowing through Sleepy Hollow Season 2 on On Demand; a
little painful, but I'm determined. My DVR (best invention
ever...next to the IPhone) usually has Criminal Minds, Law and
Order: SVU (I keep saying I need to stop watching that show; it's
gotten worse), and usually a Property Brothers episode. Most recent
movie enjoyed in the theater was the third (did there really need
to be 3?) installment of The Hobbit.
One of my favorite restaurants in SF: Cha Cha Cha (decor at the one
in the Haight is cooler!), and I've recently added The Velvet
Cantina in the Mission.
WC: Ruth's Chris (filet broiled in butter??!? yes, please!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
laughter, my pillow, my IPhone (yes, I said it), my electric
toothbrush, sunshine, vacations
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
'Being all that I can be'
No, really, and doing right by others.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Depends on the week. Friday night is often low-key since there is
so much going on over the weekend.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have a new favorite song: "Short People" by Randy Newman. As a
short person, I probably shouldn't enjoy it, but it is hilarious!
