Amy is exceptionally kind, considerate, and polite; thus, she loves guys with good, old-fashioned manners. (Extra brownie points to dudes with friends who have dope manners, too.) It's not out of the ordinary to see her buying or making gifts or baked goods for her many friends, parents, and coworkers. She's the most generous, selfless person you'll ever meet. The best part is she never expects anything in return and is truly flattered when gifts are given to her. Speaking of gifts, though she likes nice things, her needs are pretty low-maintenance - get her a book or a skein of yarn and you're golden.
She's the easiest person to be around, super down-to-earth with a wonderful, unending sense of humor and a very easy laugh. Her favorite thing to laugh at is herself, which makes her perfect girlfriend material because she never takes anything all that seriously. You'd be hard-pressed to find something you can't talk to her about. She's had so many different experiences to aid her wealth of random knowledge - from moving all over the country with her military family to surviving Hodgkins Lymphoma when she was 23 to her awesome ability to pick up random skills easily. The girl can make balloon animals, sings in a choir, plays for a bocce ball league, and is looking into ballroom dancing, for God's sake. She's super crafty - likes to scrapbook, crochet, design cards, make quilts, etc - and bakes a mean cookie! She's also a closet nerd - LOVES Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter, for example (Don't hate on Harry or you won't last long). We tease Amy for seeming like an old lady with all her hobbies, but don't get me wrong, she's the best person to bring along on a road trip, skiing in Tahoe, clubbing in Vegas, snorkeling and jet skiing in Key West, boating every summer on the Delta, playing practical jokes on her roommate, or lounging by the pool in her apartment complex. She's always down for chilling at home in her pjs and ordering some Thai take-out. The only constant is to be willing to have fun, laugh and listen! Warning: she does NOT like camping outdoors, cats, peas, and the color orange (weirdo).
Racists, hypocrites and homophobes need not apply - Amy is the most loving, tolerant, and accepting girl ever, and her crew of friends reflects that. But if you're down to meet and dote on a true gem who will take your breath away, you're the right one for her!
