My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I currently work as a substitute teacher and I plan on getting my masters degree and my teaching license to be an elementary school teacher.

I like to read, watch movies and some television, I'm a big sports fan, I love to work out, and I am passionate about music and expanding my record collection which stands at a modest 300.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am getting my masters degree and going in to elementary school teaching, in the meantime I am a substitute teacher.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I love to write, when I was in college I would write short fiction during downtime, I don't have much downtime anymore. I am very good at my job, I work with children and I have found that they are easier to talk to than adults (and often have more interesting things to say). I am good at making people laugh, though sometimes uncomfortably. I am good at yoyos. No joke, been doing it since I was 9 years old.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Usually the first people who notice me are children and they say "Don't you work at my school?"
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Kurt Vonnegut, Ken Kesey, Jack Kerouac, Alan Moore, Frank Miller, Howard Zinn, Allen Ginsberg, Brian Bendis, Hunter S. Thompson, Mark Millar, Walt Whitman, Sherman Alexie, David Sedaris

Movies: Like most people I have too many to think of. I like comedies whether they are goofy or intelligent, I like animated movies that don't dumb themselves down, I like the classics (most of them), but I especially like movies that are so bad they are good. I can watch Citizen Kane and appreciate it's influence on Cinema, but I get much more enjoyment from yelling at Tommy Wisaeu's ugly mug in The Room (and Greg Sestero's book was great).

Music: my first love is hard driving guitar rock like Zeppelin, The Stooges, Rush, etc. Hip hop, specifically MF DOOM (all caps), Madlib, Wu Tang, Beastie Boys and others. I also love jazz, classical, folk, and plenty more. This doesn't even begin to cover it.

TV: Breaking Bad, The Daily Show/Colbert Report, Saturday Night Live, Community, Mad Men. Louie. Bob's Burgers. Brooklyn 99, Cosmos (both Sagan and Tyson) Game of Thrones. Mystery Science Theater 3000 causes "Deep Hurting"
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Interesting conversations
2. Something fun to read
3. The opportunity to work with kids
4. Something to make me laugh
5. My records
6. Arbitrarily numbered lists
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Where I want to be as soon as a I get my teaching degree (also will there be teaching jobs in the Eugene/Springfield area)?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Sleeping. My work schedule is demanding and at the end of the week I just want to relax. That being said I have in the past been "coerced" into getting food, having drinks, playing pool, and other bar shenanigans. I am much more active on Saturdays.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I get along with 5th graders better than I get along with my actual coworkers.

You have a "... walked into a bar" joke.

I'll start:

"We don't serve your kind here. A time traveler walked into a bar."
