My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi guys.

I live in East Dallas and I love it! Great people, great bars, great food!
I wear very large necklaces. It's one way to make a statement.
New Year's Eve is my favorite holiday because it's sparkly. And, I have a theory that it's the only major holiday where everyone is happy because they get a fresh start.
I have a master's degree in Museum Studies. Yes, it is as nerdy as it sounds.
My dog's name is Dudley. He's fabulous. I love to take him to the dog park but he hates interacting with other dogs. I've had many people tell me he acts more like a cat than a dog.
Cheeseburgers are my favorite food. If you don't like them we are not meant to be.
I love to cook, but not cheeseburgers.
My favorite board game is SORRY! My family used to have game nights where we played when I was a kid. We still play on occasion around the holidays when we are all home.
The best Christmas present I ever received was a cordless drill. It is so practical and I can hang drapes without assistance.

I'm looking for a guy who can have fun and let loose when the time is right. I can be pretty sarcastic so I need a guy who can take it and dish it back out. The guy for me has to want the best of both worlds, staying in and cooking at home some nights, but also going out to a bar with friends. I think I'm looking for what most girls are looking for: a good, funny guy.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work in fundraising and development at a nonprofit. I get to explain why our mission is important everyday. I get to talk passionately about something near and dear to my heart everyday. It's the best.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I've been told that I'm good at cooking and baking. It's definitely something I enjoy doing, particularly baking when I have time and a person or people who will eat and enjoy what I make.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Glasses or red hair, I'm not really sure. It's not a common topic of conversation for me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I like comedies. My favorite shows are Parks & Rec, Mindy Project, and Brooklyn 99 but I also really like Game of Thrones which is definitely not a comedy. As far as movies, anything that isn't scary.

I read all kinds of books from biographies to chick lit to historical fiction. I just like to read a book with a good plot!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Besides things like oxygen and my family, I'll go with:
Netflix, I don't have cable but I love television so this is how I get my fix.
The iPhone maps app, I've lived in Dallas for 3 years and I still get lost.
Coffee, I don't need it to start everyday but it's really nice to have a few cups on a relaxing Sunday morning.
Pinterest, it's how I find new and interesting recipes to try along with a decent amount of food blogs I have stored in feedly.
My old college sweatshirt, it is the comfiest thing I own and I will never get rid of it.
Bacon because it makes most food better. Not everything though, I cooked brussel sprouts with bacon one time and they were still disgusting. Nothing can save brussel sprouts.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What my dog would say if he could talk.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Unwinding from the week with beer or wine and watching netflix. Or out with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
You'll have to wait to find out.

You think we would have a good time together and you can make me laugh. Or if you have a good Netflix suggestion.
