I have a fantastic sense of humor (at least I crack myself up). I love good food and even more importantly good wine. Pinot any one? I love oysters on the half shell, a good micro brew and a well made gin martini! I can cook a decent meal or two and I do a wicked BBQ ( I suck at cooking on the fly). I also love to put things in parenthesis and using exclamation marks!

I am searching for a smart, intelligent woman that loves to laugh. My match will be able to have a conversation about anything and nothing at all but is also ok doing something or nothing together. She will be able to go with the flow. The love of hand-holding, hugging, kissing, Cuddling and spooning is mandatory. PDA is a good thing, needing to get a room is even a better thing!

I volunteer in a national youth group (not the Boy Scouts)! Working with youth from ages 12 to 18 teaching them to be the leaders of tomorrow!

I also workout at the gym 3 to 5 days a week! I'm finally trying to get into shape!

I'm really good at fixing things and figuring out how things work! I'm very good at organizing and running activities!

I am an avid watcher of PBS i.e. how-to shows, anything about history and all manner of documentaries but I also like such shows as NCIS, Elementary, Firefly, The Big Bang Theory, Person of Interest, and Survivor. I also like to read. I read fiction and some fantasy/science fiction books as well as biographies i.e. John Adams, Truman and Theodore Roosevelt as well as works by James Clavell, Tom Clancy, Stephan Lawhead and Joel Rosenberg and I've been known to get lost in an dictionary/encyclopedia/Wikipedia.

My music tastes are eclectic, I listen to Classic Rock and heavy metal as well as Alan Parsons, ABBA, George Winston and some classical!

There is one thing that most people do not know about me that perhaps you should if your interested! I have been diagnosed with ADD and it primarily affects my memory with no rhyme or reason! I may be able to remember the most obscure facts one minute or even every word I uttered yesterday but the next minute I won't be able to remember the name of my best friend! This is usually not a big problem, as I have many work arounds but it is a minor annoyance that sometimes will give the impression that I'm not as smart as I really am! So if I temporarily forget your name or something you said it doesn't mean I don't care enough to remember it just means I'm having a problem accessing that part of my memory at that particular time! :)
