My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am going to be open from the first that I’m a kinkster and I’m actively looking to explore my kink interests. If thats not your thing, thanks for stopping by and good luck.
If you are interested in talking about kink then drop me a line. I’m more then happy to talk about kink in specifics or in the abstract. My interests tend to lean towards D/s power play, on the D side of the coin. I also defiantly recognize that kink is not the only factor in a relationship, but it is something I’m focused on and do need that piece in place as well as other life interests.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I have lived in and around Chicago for most of my life, so I can usually get around without the aid of a map. At this time I'm living up by little India so if thats fits your tastes, there are tuns of places I still need to try. I always enjoy going out and trying new places to eat and drink. Though, I hate sports and try as much as possible to avoid places with TVs in them. I also love craft beer and am always looking for someone to share a bomber with. I have a little 125cc scooter that I have discovered is more utilitarian then sexy.

I'm working at a small video production company here in Chicago--I have several different roles from admin to production. The work is fun and I'm not always stuck doing the same thing.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Setting up wifi networks?
Procrastinating, and letting my cat convince me that I do in fact have time to lay in bed in bed with him despite what the clock says.
Douglas Adams has an apropos quote on this topic:
~"I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by."
This one is a bit silly but I'm vary good at wrapping electrical and AV cable.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I'm tall, and, that I'm loud. Both attributes are completely incidental.

Currently reading: "The Long War" by Terry Pratchett and Stephen Baxter

-Anything by Douglas Adams
-Terry Pratchett: Discworld,Good Omens which brings me to;
-Neil Gaiman: (Especially when I'm in a whimsically dark mood)
-Neal Stephenson, Diamond Age, Anathem, and The Baroque Cycle are my favorites.
-George R. R. Martin: Song of Ice and Fire (I have read the whole series and started years before the show.)
-Oscar Wilde
-P. G. Wodehouse

Non Fiction:
-Richard Dawkins, so far I have just read The Selfish Gene, and The Blind Watchmaker
-Scott Anderson's: Lawrence in Arabia: War, Deceit, Imperial Folly, and the Making of the Modern Middle East. A fascinating read that help me get a better grasp of some of the events that lead to what we are all sing play out in the Middle East.
-Erik Larson

These are just some of my absolute favorites but the list goes on.

-The Brothers Bloom
-Children of Men
-Lawrence of Arabia
-Howl's Moving Castle
Just to list a few.

TV Shows
-Game of Thrones
-Walking Dead
-Sherlock (The current BBC Show by that name)
-Mad Men
-White Collar
-Cowboy Bebop
-Last Chance to See; I have only seen the newer one with Stephen Fry. If you have the original Douglas Adams version I need to see it.

Sushi, and Japanese food in general.
Asian cuisine
A good steak cooked rare.
To be fair I like food of all kinds, the trick is finding the people making it who care about what they are doing.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Well to generalize, modern IT: internet, spellcheck, audio books, iPhone, Apple computers, DSLR...
2. For #1 to work I suppose electricity would have to make the list.
3. Hot and cold running water and indoor plumbing. You might think me silly but, **you** imagine living with out it!
4. Some form of personal motorized transportation.
5. Food; that does not require me personally to extinguish its life. I quite like using one of the implements from item #1 to contact someone who brings me food ready to eat. I don't mind peeling a banana, but I don't think I would take well to peeling a cow.
6. The scientific method of thought.

OK yes, I'm being slightly facetious here, because I find the question to be faintly ridiculous. Think about it could you live with out any of the above without seriously changing your skill sets?

And yes, other things that are importnet to me are my friends and pets. I have wonderful, old, low-key dog and a cat. But come on, who doesn't like their friends? It's what the word means.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why so many people on this site have "The Picture of Dorian Gray" as their favorite Oscar Wilde work rather than "The Importance of Being Earnest."
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At home playing board games with friends.
Out watching a friend's circus show. (Yes, I have more than one friend who does circus/side show. They make me look cooler just by standing next to me.)
Just finding some good food and drinks, and then going to kill some time playing pool, badly.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
If you ever stay the night my cat will try to sleep on your head.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You feel inclined to! I don't mind short opening messages, I know it's hard to start conversations on here.
If you have a favorite book and think I need to read it.
If you want to talk about kink, I find the topic fascinating and like to to talk to people about their perspective, even in the abstract.
Or if you are into nerdy board games and you have one in mind that I need to try.
