I graduated from GVSU. I love to be outside in the summer and I am a recent fan of the winter as well, as I am learning how to ski! I like the Detroit Tigers and the Red Wings and I love going to games.

I have never been further west than Chicago. I love to go see new movies and I enjoy a concert every once in a while. I am a very curious person; it has helped me to try new things, go new places, and experience life from different perspectives. I feel it's very important to be well rounded. I try to give back to my community when I can. I am very family oriented and I love pets, though I don't have any right now.

I have a very compassionate heart, I just don't have the stomach for blood like my mom and sister do (they're nurses). So I went into the optometry field. Considering going back to school to become a Dr of Optometry or and Ophthalmologist.

I do have a legal degree, but I became unhappy with the field. I still love law as more of a hobby now though. Maybe someday I'll figure out how to combine Optometry & Law and make something of myself that way lol.

I love going to the metroparks and waterparks; I love being in the water! Swimming, dancing & jogging are my outlets. I work out a lot- just recently lost over 20 lbs. I like to be active and out doing things, enjoying life! ;)

I am a very good swimmer. I used to swim long distance in High School and since I hurt my knees in college it is the easiest sport for me to maintain.

I am also good at writing, you have to be in my line of work. I had a paper that I wrote in college on the USA PATRIOT Act published which was very exciting at the time.

I am very easy going and I tend to be able to talk very easily with people I just met.

Random things I am good at...making banana pancakes, finding obscure movies to watch, Monday Night Trivia and keeping busy.

Is my eyes; I hear that they are unusual and even I don't know what color they actually are, but that has more to do with the pigments absorbing surrounding colors than it does with my actual knowledge of their color lol. My license says they are grey.

Been reading a lot of Dean Koontz books lately; Life Expectancy was really good, totally recomend it. My favorite book is Mr. Darcy takes a wife by Linda Berdoll. I really like Jane Austen, she is hands down my favorite author. I also enjoyed Laura Esquival's Like Water for Chocolate and every other VC Andrews book. I like Emerson, Poe, and I liked the books 1984, Fahrenheit 451. I like romantic plots and intellectually engaging ideas. I also like the books Radicals in Robes & Trials of a Forensic Psychologist.

My favorite movie is Amelie. I also liked Dr. Horrible's Sing-A-Long Blog, Invention of Lying, Inglorious Bastards, Beerfest, Stardust, Stranger than Fiction, She's out of my league, Atonement, Pan's Labyrinth, My Girl, Wedding Daze, A Knight's Tale, Hot Fuzz, Green Lantern, Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows (part 2) and Pride & Prejudice.

My favorite genres of music are rock alternative and pop. Bands that I like include: Ludo, Mustard Plug, Orgy, The Cardigans, Tool, The Beastie Boys, The Black Keys, Sia, Alexander, Junip, Fleet Foxes, Band of Horses, She Wants Revenge, Low Millions, Carey Brothers, MSI, The Beatles, Rooney, D12, The Darkness, Less Than Jake, The Matches, Franz Ferdinand, The Who, Stray Cats, Yellowcard, Queens of the Stone Age, Straylight Run, My Chemical Romance, The Flaming Lips, Saving Abel, The Frey, Joan Jett, Katy Perry, Colbie Caliat, Keane, Lostprophets, Plain White T's, Motion City Soundtrack, NFG, Unwritten Law, The Pink Spiders, The Vines, Psychostick, Weezer, The Presidents of the United States of America, Rise Against, Save Ferris, and The Verve Pipe. I know that's a rather long list but my musical tastes are all over the place.

My favorite food is spanish rice from Mexican Fiesta.

And as a bonus, my favorite flower is a daisy, my favorite painting is Starry Night, and my favorite color is bright yellow!

My car- because I love to travel.

My phone- because I like to stay connected.

My family- because I love mine.

My hearing- because there are too many sounds that I don't think I could give up.

My sight- because I love my sight.

My heart- because I wouldn't be me without it! ;)

Traveling. I would love to just travel for a job.

Usually off doing something with friends. I like to keep life interesting. Camping, bonfires, fairs, live shows, comedy clubs, games, you name it.

I have an irrational dislike of khaki pants and belly buttons. I have no idea why, I just do.

I want a guy who I can respect, who is romantic, shows he cares, will be right there helping me reach my goals like I will for him. A man who can cook is also a plus! Someone with a great smile, who loves to laugh, and loves life.
