My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I've been traveling the last few weeks and will be back in LA on June 3rd.

Heyy! Here goes nothing...

I’m a person who loves to experience events in life as they happen and learn from each one. And I have learned a lot. Yeah, sometimes those experiences can really suck, but things happen for a reason and I try to always default to that belief. Life is too short and sweet not to savor every bit of it. I always endeavor to enjoy my day and be happy, not stressed out or angry.

I was brought up to be versatile and understanding but encouraged to voice my opinion. This sometimes leads to my probably doing so a little more often than I ought to, but hey, we all have our idiosyncrasies, right? :)

I’m looking for someone with whom I can share laughter and meaningful times. Having a passion for life and laughing are crucial, if not mandatory. If you’re a good cook, so much the better!

I'm known to just get up and travel so it'd be ideal if you loved traveling as much as I do. I've got a car (important in LA), passport and a job with flexibility so I'm ready to head out there when you are!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Exploring Los Angeles and all it has to offer. I like finding new places to hang out and meeting good people.

I’m also researching and planning new places to travel to, both in the US and overseas. I love venturing to new destinations to eat...and enjoy!

My current adventure/desire is to road trip to every Sundance theater in the country and see a few movies in each. At this moment, there's only 5 up and running so it's not out of reach. Any takers to join in?
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Seeing the glass half full.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My tattoos get noticed often and I’m always asked what they mean. You better have some free time set aside if you want to hear the whole story! Haha. They're all symbolic and significant.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I like books and have many of them. It might be easier, if you’d like to know the sort of literature I favor, for you to take a look in my bookcase if you are ever lucky enough to enter my apartment. :)

I make it a point to see a movie in a theater at least once a week. My favorites change constantly.

My music tastes change as often as well, almost as often as I change my underwear. Okay, gutterminds, I’ve had a few of you comment on that underwear statement, wondering how often I change them. Just to clarify, I change my underwear slightly more frequently than my music preferences.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My passport.
Good, positive vibes.
A pet or the two I have.
My comfort.

A few things that make my life more convenient... I enjoy having them but could, without a doubt, have them absent from daily life:
A back scratcher.
A DustBuster.
Remote Controllers.
Wallets. (However, I'd be so disorganized at every purchase)
Extension cords.

Q-tips and extension cords - sexy, eh?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why I’m often misunderstood. And why everyone else is misunderstood. What’s with all the misunderstanding, people?!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Typical has no real place in my vocabulary. Suffice I to say, I’m a big fan of variety.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You don't have a mustache. Other facial hair is totally acceptable and sometimes even nice.

You make others laugh and, as mentioned, you’re a freakishly good cook.

Also, please don’t suggest meeting for drinks for the first few dates. That’s a bonehead move in my opinion. How can you honestly learn anything of substance about a person when your date is sloshed? Alcohol is fun for sure, but definitely not on a first date. If you “need” it to loosen up, you probably have some stuff to overcome before going on a date...with me anyway.

Please feel free to write, you non-mustached, non-alcoholic Bobby Flay cook-alike!

Bye for now...
