My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a college graduate with a B.A. in media studies. I am not looking for anything particularly serious, I just got out of a bad relationship, but I am looking to make friends.

I studied overseas in Japan for four months and that was an incredible experience. I would love to go back once I have the money. Although unlike most other people who love Japan, I'm not a crazy anime obsessed otaku. I like the culture and the language is quite interesting to study, although I'm fairly awful at it now.

I like to read, listen to music, and most importantly watch and make movies.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working T_T
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Playing video games. And by really good, I mean that I just like them. Right now I am obsessed with Starcraft II, but I have also been playing Skyrim. I also love to play soccer, and am signing up for a league now.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Is probably my sense of humor, which is really kinda odd, as well as the fact that I talk quietly and can be hard to hear. I've also had a lot of people randomly tell me that I look like Keanu Reeves, which I'm not really a fan of. Also I've had a few people tell that I look half-japanese which is not true at all, and I'm about as white as you can get.

As far as books go I'm a huge fan of the Lord of the Rings trilogy and pretty much anything by Tolkien. I'm also a fan of the Dragonlance series, and I like the Fountainhead by Ayn Rand. Anything by Douglas Adams or Terry Pratchet is awesome. I also like Don Quixote, The Inferno, and The Prince. I want to read more of the classics, but as of yet I haven't. Currently I'm reading "American Gods" but I'm not that far into it yet.

Movies - I love really terrible movies that are so bad they are good. I'm also a huge fan of the classics like Citizen Cane, The Godfather parts I and II (three is ok, but it isn't in the same league as the first two), Seven Samurai, A Trip to the Moon, most things by Charlie Chaplin, and the original Star Wars trilogy. I also like Memento, Public Enemies, Ghostbusters, Lucky Number Slevin, Black Swan, and a whole fuckton more.

Music - I mostly listen to rock, metal, techno, and classical. Honestly I like pretty much everything, but I'm not a huge fan of rap or country. Here is a short, and ever growing list of some of the bands I like:

Eluveitie, Orphaned Land, Amorphis, Cradle of Filth, Cream, Eric Clapton, Paco de Lucía, The Who, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Nightwish, Metallica (older stuff), The Band, Phish, The Black Mages, Kansas, Muse, Nickle Creek, Frank Sinatra, Boston, Chicago, The Eagles, Marilyn Manson, Rush, Beck, Impellitteri, The Blue Oyster Cult, AC/DC, A.F.I., Disturbed, Frank Zappa, Graveworm, Children of Bodom, Fleetwood Mac, Rage Against The Machine, Amon Amarth, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Michael Jackson (older stuff), John Denver, Bon Jovi, Lacuna Coil, Flogging Molly, The Offspring, Nirvana, Dimmu Borgir, Pearl Jam, 3 Inches of Blood, Alice in Chains, Mudvayne, Ben Harper, Perpetual Groove, Daft Punk, FreezePop, Nicklecreek, The Avett Brothers, mcchris, Symphony X, Pink Floyd, Iron Maiden, Dreamtheatre...and the list goes on
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Books, Soccer, Film, The Internet and all of its wonders, Friends, Music
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I like reading and watching videos about evolution. It's kinda sad really but it's just a topic that fascinates me, as well as listening to a lot of audiobooks about science such as A Brief History of Time by Stephen Hawking. I also tend to spend a great deal of time trying to understand things that I draw. I'm a horrible artist and I normally just end up drawing shapes and then add faces or teeth to them and it's pretty fucked up.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Playing D&D with friends, playing some Starcraft, venturing out to cause chaos in the city, or rocking out some Mario Kart, Mario Party, or Risk.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I know way more than I should about the Harry Potter series. Seriously. Ask me a question.

You want to know more about me because I'm terrible at these things and I'm sure I'm leaving a ton out about myself.
