My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm looking for what everybody else is looking for - their perfect match. Can I find it here? Who knows, but I'll give it a shot. The only way to live life is to actually live it, right?

Friends and family are very important to me and I spend a lot of time with both of them. I'm caring, loyal, funny and I talk non-stop when I'm nervous.

I think sitting quietly and watching a sunset is a great way to spend an evening. I love riding ferries and leaning over the back rail to watch the engines stirring up the water. Toe rings make me giggle - which is why I wear them.

I love taking pictures and am happy I have a digital camera - I take pictures of weird stuff and the costs of development would be huge! I like to say I'm an "award-winning" photographer, but truthfully the awards came from the Evergreen State Fair. I've chosen to ignore the fact that everybody gets an award just for entering.

I like to camp and love nature in general, but I find I don't go enough. I'm slowly building my own "camping stock" and it was a proud day when I bought my very own tent. However, with that being said, I most like to camp with my sister and brother-in-law as they actually cook while camping. My sister can bake a cake over a camp fire - something that continues to amaze me. If I was left to my own devices, it would be hot dogs, s'mores and chips for the weekend!

I'm looking for someone who is funny and smarter than me. I believe myself to be a pretty funny girl. As for someone that's smarter than me ... I think it's my partner's job to know the stuff in life that I don't. Seems fair, right?

I consider myself "high maintenance". I put others above and ahead of myself and expect honesty and responsibility in return. I expect people to do what they say they're going to do and say only what they mean. I expect someone to give me as much appreciation and respect as I give them. I know that trust is earned - and I expect to earn yours and make you earn mine. See? High maintenance :)

I am looking for someone who isn't afraid of a strong, independent woman. That may seem silly to list here ... but, things are listed for a reason, aren't they? Kind of like the "Do not ingest" labels on bug spray.

I am thoughtful, silly, and chatty
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working at a job that I enjoy and just doing the best I can with everything else.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Grilling chicken. Listening. Spelling. Hanging pictures without measuring. Using my turn signal. Typing (100wpm, thank you very much).
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I'm almost always in a good mood. I am usually humming as I walk around the office.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Food Network is one of my favorite TV channels.

I love girls with guitars, DMB, Barenaked Ladies, Train, MatchBox Twenty, Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Brandi Carlile. I like music that moves me - makes me feel something.

I love to read and will read almost any genre for entertainment, but I'm starting to settle into "paranormal fiction" as I write book reviews for a website that focuses on that. I read purely for entertainment ... and usually in a bubble bath.

About movies, let's just say I have over 200 movies in my Netflix queue. Yep, safe to say that I really like movies. Not just girlie ones - but action movies. Aliens vs. Predators is a particular favorite of mine. Also, any comic book turned movie I am guaranteed to love for some reason.

A brief look at what's currently being recorded by my DVR:
Fargo
The Americans
Orphan Black
The Good Wife
The Pioneer Woman
The Walking Dead
Lockup
Hannibal
Grimm
Marvel: Agents of Shield

..... and those are the ones that I can recall off the top of my head :)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Coffee. TV. My friends and family. Good book. Laughter. A comfy couch.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Everything. I think about a lot of things, all at the same time, it seems. I "live in my head" a lot of the times. Which also means I'm guilty of "over-thinking", but I try to overcome that.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Having a quiet night at home. Spending time with my girlfriends. Getting my butt kicked at MarioKart on the Wii. I like using my Friday nights to unwind from the week that just happened, which generally means they're low-key.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Very recently I've been thinking that a more polyamorous lifestyle may be what I've been looking for in life. This is a whole new way of thinking for me and the more I think about it, consider the options, the more enamored I become. I feel like I’ve closed myself in a little box for too long and that box just doesn’t fit me anymore. I’m more than the box I closed myself up in.

You know how to take life seriously, but at the same time can laugh at it and yourself. If you appreciate movie-marathons and junk food. If you put others above yourself - or if you don't do that, appreciate those that do and never take it for granted. And ... if you have a motorcycle because I'd like to learn how to ride :)
