I am Unique, Eclectic, and Me.

My Self-Summary

I'm mainly just here for the tests and maybe friends. My husband also has an account on here for the tests as well (quit rolling your eyes we both like to kill time doing silly stuff sometimes), but should the right FEMALE come along we could be open to more. His username here is LDM522. We are poly, but believe in a closed triad with another female.

I can also be some what of a kid at heart. I love to laugh and be with people I care about. I get excited about the little things. It doesn't take much to make me happy. I'm usually an optimist, but sometimes a realist. Keep reading for more.

Oh, and I'm not the best speller in the world. Spellcheck is my best friend. Unfortunately, they don't have one on OkCupid, so I've had to do my best. Yes, I know I can cut and paste from Word. I just choose to let people see me as I am.

What I’m doing with my life

At the moment I'm very active at work, church (we're UU), and our business.

I'm very proactive in helping to make our environment better in many ways. I work in the outdoors, love to canoe on the river and collect what trash I find along the way. Love the canoeing part not the finding trash part. I'm on the Sustainability committee at my church and we are working towards the Green Sanctuary program. We encourage our clients to be "green" when we work with them.

I currently only have a "some college" level education. This is mainly because it took me awhile to realize/come-back-to what I wanted to do in life. The college that I have elected to attend offers credit hours to its non-traditional students if they have certifications in their chosen field. I can get those certifications in my current job and save money when I go back to college.

This does not mean I am not an intelligent person. I love to learn. One of my favorite quotes from my favorite series, The Kushiel Legacy, is "All knowledge is worth having." I love to read, engage in intellectual discussions, and will be the first to admit that I don't know everything (although I am the self-proclaimed useless trivia queen). Also, I would love to learn Gaelic, but it's a dying languge and there are so few people to help me learn.

I’m really good at

Useless trivia Helping others Kinda good at crocheting. LOVE to cook and bake (I concoct a lot but 90% it's successful) I'm working on getting proficient at identifying birds by sight and sound and identifying various trees as well.

The first things people usually notice about me

I tend to be a bit of a talker, but I also will be one to people watch. So either they notice I talk a lot or they think I'm very quiet. I also have red hair and bright eyes (don't ask if they're green or blue that's a constant discussion in my family. I think they're green :P)

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I LOVE the Kushiel Legacy and Black Jewels trilogy. I've had to tape the binders of several of my paperbacks that I've read over and over from these two series. I've read Anne of Green Gables series too many times to count. I can truely identify with Anne with an -e.

My favorite movies are: Labyrinth, The Last Unicorn, The Producers, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (dammit they need to do a sequel), Underworld (Kate Beckinsale is soooo yummy), and the list goes on.

Music, anything except hard rap. I love Broadway tunes, Celtic Woman, Depeche Mode, and many others.

Food.....well I'm an amateure chef so you figure that one out.

The six things I could never do without

1) My Husband (corny I know) 2) Books 3) My Family (some of them anyways) 4) A calm place to commune with nature 5) Open-minded people 6) My "me" time

I really don't have much else I could do without (barring the essentials like food and water of course)

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Life in general. What we are doing to the planet and what we can do to fix it. Better ways to teach people. Books I have read. What I can do to make people in my life happy.

On a typical Friday night I am

Out with my husband at one of our favorite places. We enjoy our date nights. It's a social time for us.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I'm an open book so just ask. I've heard people say this is lame, but it really is true. I will be the first to tell you I was the one that messed up or made a mistake. I will also answer any question posed to me to the best of my ability. I have no secrets that I can't share with the right person/people. Honesty is so important.

You should message me if

ONLY if you are a female who is bi, poly, and also knows what D/s means, OR a FEMALE who just wants to talk and not put people down. You don't have to be just like me or my husband, but you do need to know what those three things mean. Please do not message me if you want to argue with anything I've siad, or don't agree with me. I am ME and you won't change that.
