My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am: a journalist who loves to laugh, a fun and adventurous friend, a little bit silly, and always willing to learn and try new things.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
As a reporter, I spend most of my days trying to ask intelligent questions, writing, and drinking more coffee than is probably healthy. Outside of work, I like hanging out with friends, working my way through an incredibly long Netflix queue and spending time outside.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Swimming, writing, making a mean cup of coffee and making people smile.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm quick to laugh and even quicker to smile.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I was an English major and can quote you a ton of Shakespeare and Walt Whitman. I'll read anything and everything -- right now I'm working my way through Ian McEwan and some of Emerson's essays. While I don't watch too much tv, I've been known to spend a Sunday or two marathoning a great comedy like Parks and Recreation or Arrested Development. My favorite foods range from Indian to Thai to Mexican, but really I'll try anything.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
A notebook and pen, a good pair of jeans, a great book, strong coffee and the people I love.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Politics, religion, feminism and other topics you're not supposed to discuss in polite conversation; whichever book I last read (or am reading), or whichever movie I last watched; the state of the newspaper industry; and planning my next trip.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Grabbing dinner and drinks with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I once saw the same Broadway musical four times in one summer.
