My self-summary
What I'm doing with my life
Making it through school, enjoying my job, living off Hot Pockets
(while expanding my cooking skills without burning down the
kitchen), trying to learn how win at pool without cheating
(amazingly enough most bars frown upon flashing my opponent- Go
figure.)
I'm really good at
Riding horses, dancing like a crazy woman, and procrastinating. Oh,
and running around Wal-mart at 3 in the morning and making it
wildly entertaining.
The first thing(s) people usually notice about me
The hair. Course that's what people compliment you with when
they're desperately searching for something other than "great
personality". They probably also notice my lack of coordination as
well (my special skill= falling *up* stairs).
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
A) I have about 100 books just on my favorites shelf so small
sampling: War for the Oaks, the Dresden Files, Queen of Attolia,
Elizabeth Moon, Kelly Armstrong, Kim Harrison, Last days of Summer,
Simon Green. Lots of fantasy, little mystery, and not much classics
(working on it though). I loathe LOTR, just so ya know... (please,
don't look at the screen like I just killed your favorite
puppy)
B) I haven't ever met a movie that I haven't actually had fun watching... even if it required making up Rocky Horror-esque lines while doing it (Watch the original Hitcher and see if you can resist the urge). Anyhow the good stuff- Dusk til Dawn, Thelma and Louise,Casablanca, Someone Like You (laugh not at the sappiness), Center Stage, Empire Records, Coyote Ugly, Jack of all Trades (yes it's a TV show, but it involves Bruce Campbell so shush),Fifth Element, Clerks, Princess Bride, Ferris Bueller, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, 8 days a week, Grindhouse ect. Also a sucker for most zombie movies
C) I have an extremely eclectic taste in music, and going from broadway musical to Irish punk to red dirt country isn't that unusual for me.
