My Self-Summary

What to say? Well, I'm a larger than life person with many interests. I'm sometimes quiet and reserved and other times loud and outgoing - like most people. I enjoy most kinds of music; watching cop shows - CSI (New York and the original - Horatio bothers me), Law & Order (whichever one is on any given night); doing crossword puzzles; reading; drawing; and many other things. I have a particular thing for tall men who are solidly built (think Goren on L&O: CI) - there's just something about their proportions that makes me weak in the knees. I'm a big, (fat to the narrowminded) and I like to believe, beautiful woman who's just a little off center - not that there's anything wrong with being kept offbalance for it's in the offkilter moments that you learn to live.

What I’m doing with my life

Working to pay back my student loans and thinking about finishing my B.Comm. I enjoy what I do for a living right now immensely and it turns out I'm damn good at it. I'm just not sure I want to spend the rest of my life doing this job.

Lately, I want to start getting healthy again. I want to start working out but the idea of the gym scares me a bit. I'd like to shuck this cocoon of chubby I've wrapped myself in and find out how to live again. Right now I'm in the planning stage but I am going to get progressing on this soon because life is short and I'm wasting time.

I’m really good at

anything I put my mind to - including drawing, writing, any kind of craftwork..

The first things people usually notice about me

My laugh matches me - supersized!

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

(Books) W.E.B. Griffin's Badge of Honor series, anything WWII or Cold war spy related, police procedurals - fiction or non-fiction, anything that makes me think.

(Movies) Manhunter, Collateral - anything Michael Mann really, Sin City, Casablanca, Falling Down, Comic Book movies.

(Music) Oh a little of everything from Frank Sinatra to Judas Priest to Johnny Cash to Hard Fi and the Headstones.

(Food) I am a carnivore! I love a rare steak at a good (a really good) steakhouse. I have to go out to eat because I can't cook for beans... can't cook beans either.

The six things I could never do without

-my freedom

-my curiosity

-my car (until public transit gets better anyway) and its lovely heated seats

-the internet

-my cats

-my iPod

I spend a lot of time thinking about

the odd things that few others seem to notice or mention even if they do notice.

On a typical Friday night I am

Trying to figure out what to do with a Friday night off, which I haven't had in a very long time. Yay for me! Now, I can go about going out and finding the life I set aside a while back.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I play Neopets.... shhh, don't tell the cat minions.

You should message me if

You're looking for something a little untraditional... something a little wild. I admit I'm pretty random at times, a dear friend once described hanging out with me as being around a butterfly with hiccups - here, there... everywhere - but I'm loyal to my friends. I'm looking for someone who wouldn't mind playing tourist in this great city in which we live or would like to show a fat chick how to use some of those mysterious machines at the gym. I'm about to start breaking out of my cocoon and I can't guarantee you I'm going to be a butterfly, but I'll be one interesting moth!
