YAHOOOOO!!! I've finally gotten a place for my kids and I to live. I finished signing paperwork on a nice 3 bdroom, 2 bath trailer in a nice quiet mobile home park. In a few years..it will be mine! I am so excited! I have to wait until Sunday to move however, because I have to work the next few days. I am so ready to be in my own place.....

hi. love living in the city; lots to do, and I now live where the sun shines. It has been nice and warm and i love it. I know the cold is coming, but i really am enjoying the warmth that lasts past the end of August. I am gaining new friends and learning new things as well. Now all i need is a place for my kids and i to live! we are living with my older daughter, and her family has been oh so great and very patient with us all. its time to find a place for us though, so thats next. went thru one job, now on to a little better job as well. it will come....given time. whoo hoo....new life!!!

ok. i need more people to talk to. I am so missing people to talk to. I also want to talk to more people who i could meet around this area as well... sooo please please...

the last few weeks have been so busy with so many things. ive finally gotten a job, but not something i can live on or raise kids on. I do love where i live and cant wait for the day i have my own place, with a good job, and lots of friends. Ive already started making the lots of friends...both here and in the city itself. its WARM, the sun shines alot, and even when it rains, its not bad. At least its not snow yet.....
kids like it too. HUGE plus in our lives...

ummm...i just took a neatness test, and you know, i dont think i answered it right. I am just not a neat freak!! Just ask anyone who knows me!!!!

WE are MOVED...FINALLY!!! Now i am looking for a job. There are days when i question my brilliance of quitting a good job and moving to another place. When i started this whole adventure, things werent this bad. Its since i put the whole plan into motion that things are falling apart economically. I just still think we have a better chance of doing better here in colo spgs than in leadville overall. We've been here about 5 days now, and i have spent at least three of those moving the rest of my stuff. Ive had alot of help from Mike, my separated husband at this point, and i must give him alot of credit for all the stuff he has moved and put up with. sooooo i am now in a place where there are more resources...such as more schooling etc. I am debating on what i want to go on with though. that will be a debate with myself for another day however. I have many other immediate things to do right now.

Ok. Im tired of this moving thing. I am almost done (i know, i said that before....) but i think by next week, it should be DONE! then i can get on with life in general....you know, finding a job, making sure i can access the things i need til i can find a place of my own to live. *sighs* til then..it goes on.............

Ok. its the last stretch. job is finished for now, and the packing and moving is happening in earnest. today i do a little more packing, then a trip to the storage unit. This is no easy quick task as the storage unit is 125 miles away....a quick trip down and back in the morning and a continuation of the packing. I dont know if two weeks was enough time to get everything packed but i guess its gonna have to be. Im thinking ill have a little more time; the two week limit was my own. never the less, ill keep working towards that goal. most of what needs done is boxing up small stuff; there's actually very little furniture. My cedar chest, a chest of drawers, my coffee table, TV, some of the kids' beds. not much else. Im leaving alot of stuff as I just dont have room for it all. Im thinking about getting a small freezer, as I have a few things in this freezer that I need to take with me. so that's one more thing i need to do.
I know this is more of a self thing, so I apologize now. Its just to kinda keep me on track.......

Today was my last day at my job; I'm moving on with life. And the people in my office along with a whole lot of other people gave me a surprise going away party, and i even helped get it together without a clue as to what was going on. I helped pick up the barbeque grill for my own party, and smashed my finger doing it. I walked up into the party and had absolutely NO idea it was for me....what a great surprise!!! and what a humbling experience. I live in a small town and at least 40 people showed up and about 20 more people sent their condolences for not being able to come. I feel very honored and blessed by the Gods and Goddesses that I have so many people here who care so much for me. wow....what a great day!! Cant wait to tell this one to my therapist!!! 8)
