I am intelligent and creative. I consider these my best traits. I look for these qualities in my friends and partners, too. When it comes to dating, I won't do a Republican, sorry all you conservative ladies and fellas, but it is not negotiable.

Urban life fascinates me, and I love to explore the city, take in its history, and continually find out what the space has to offer. I ride buses and regional rail lines for fun and to take in the scenery.

I love David Bowie. His style, his music, his influence. If you don't love Bowie, too, you should at least be able to tolerate his presence in my life.

Food and alcohol are certainly a fun part of life. I like beer and liquor more than wine, but I'll try anything once. I LOVE to cook and try new restaurants.

I can be neurotic, insecure and loud. But with me, the good outweighs the bad, trust me.

I am RARELY a jeans and t-shirt kind of gal.

What I’m doing with my life

I write for a living. I'm fighting the good fight with a not-for-profit organization. My job is part creative, part business, and I love it. Museums and libraries are my passion (I love history, art, reading, cultural heritage, etc) and I am thrilled and happy each to come to work at a university library.

I’m really good at

Writing, reading, talking, drinking, working out. I'd like to think I'm good at cooking, but I'm not too sure. I love it, none the less.

My good looks, my intelligence, my charm? It is hard to choose just one thing when you've got it this good.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Nabokov and Vonnegut for the Euro/American 1-2 punch. Anything David Bowie. I'm open to all kinds of music and dig the live show. I'm adventurous in the culinary department.
