So a little about me, since that is the purpose of this section. I'm not a feminist. I don't believe in equality: men and women are fundamentally different, yet also designed to complement each other. I'm extroverted, exceedingly clever and vain. Most people would agree I'm a smartass and a spelling nazi.

I'm a girl gamer. We used to be a rare breed but times have changed. I prefer FPS and RPG games, for the most part. You might catch me playing the odd RTS every now and then, but I wouldn't count on it.

Last but not least, I'm a Something Awful goonette, so be sure to get in touch if you have stairs in your house.

I am stubborn, cheerful, spunky, inquisitive, and empathic

Most of the events in my life tend to focus around personal relationships, both online or offline. My not-so-long term goal is to settle down with a man that cares as much about me as I do about him, and to eventually get married and have children. While I realize that sounds terribly cliche, it has been my life-long dream and I hope to see it fulfilled one day.

On a lighter note, I admit I spend a large amount of time online. Most of this time is spent reading websites and forums as well as chatting with people. Also, I spend a fair amount of time playing games. I've played EVE online in the past. My WoW phases come and go. Right now, I'm hooked on Jagged Alliance 2 again.

Apart from gaming, I enjoy tinkering with programming languages. I'm very fond of PHP, and I've used it to create my very own website (Jennana.com) as well as a wide array of tools and scripts. I've also been known to program in C++ or C#, depending on what I need.

I like to think I'm good at analyzing people. I empathize easily, and I'm a good listener. I'm fairly bright, so I usually catch on pretty quickly when it comes to new things.

I've also been told I'm a good mentor, as I'm patient and will explain things over and over again until they are fully understood.

I can also kick your ass at Quake 1.

They will take note of my height, as I'm 6' tall. My green eyes tend to stand out as well. I've been told I have a great smile, so hopefully that won't go unnoticed, either. Personality wise they'll find I'm caring, open-minded and friendly.

(A) I'm not as much of a reader as I used to be, but I can still appreciate a good book from time to time. To name a few, I particularly enjoyed the Dune series, Stranger in a strange land, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Neuromancer, Shogun, the Lord of the Rings series, and pretty much anything by Asimov and Heinlein. I still have a pile of (e-)books I need to tap into, but I never seem to get around to actually reading them.

(B) I love movies. These are some of my favorites: Titanic, Boondock Saints, Forrest Gump, Star Wars, The Shawshank Redemption, Gladiator, The Professional, Troy, The Green Mile, Lord of the Rings, Equilibrium, The Usual Suspects, Full Metal Jacket, Amelie, A Beautiful Mind, American Psycho, 12 Monkeys, Oceans Eleven, Blade Runner, Labyrinth, The Neverending Story, Saving Private Ryan, The Breakfast Club, and almost everything by Quentin Tarantino. It's probably also worth mentioning I'm a huge Monty Python fan.

(C) I enjoy collecting movie and game soundtracks. I particularly enjoy John Williams, Hans Zimmer, Jeremy Soule, Frank Klepacki, Phil Vachey, Danny Elfman, Brad Fiedel, James Horner and Ennio Morricone. As for "normal" music, I like U2, Muse, Pearl Jam, Metallica, Dire Straits, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Disturbed, The Prodigy, The Shadows, Three Doors Down, Weird Al, Apocalyptica, and many, many others. As you can see, the spectrum is quite broad and I don't particularly favor one genre over another.

(D) Some of the things I enjoy eating: Spaghetti and other pastas, any form of toast, ice cream (most flavors), grilled chicken, turkey, broccoli, pancakes, rice, chocolate, cereal, lobster, mussels, french fries.

I need a whole lot more, but these are probably the most important:

• The simple needs: food, water, air.
• Personal hygiene.
• Friends.
• Sex.
• A computer (preferably with an internet connection.)
• Love, respect and appreciation.

Things that happened in the past, things I've been through, places I've been , people I've met and experiences I've had. I also enjoy thinking about the meaning of life, the unresolvable struggle between good and evil, as well as mythology and fiction.

Some of my thoughts are not so light-hearted: the future and well-being of my family, friends and myself, the current political and economical state of the world, and of course what I'd like to have for dinner tonight.

I might be out for the night, seeing a movie or going to a party, or perhaps a public place such as a bar or a club. Alternatively, I might spend some time at home playing games, chatting, or working on my website and other projects. Friday nights tend to be colorful, so it's hard to predict.

Intelligence and humor turn me on. I love guys that understand the movie references I throw at them and counter them with something witty. Unfortunately, not a lot of them fall into this category. They tend to be geeks, but that's not a bad thing. I like geeks.
