I truly never know what to include in these. I'm not a party person. I love fantasy. I recycle a lot. I hate mushrooms. I believe in ghosts. I can't wear yellow things. I'm engaged to be married! I collect pens, notebooks, bags, shoes, and stickers... and then I want to give all of it away, renounce worldly possessions, and live off-grid. I'm conflicted. Half the time global warming terrifies and depresses me; half the time I think that the world could stand to lose 3/4 of its human population, at least.

You'll rarely find me wearing make-up or shopping at Walmart. I'm a natural girl, and I like it that way. I'm a language geek; I've studied French, Japanese, Ancient Greek, bits of German, and would LOVE to study some Chinese, Arabic, Korean, Coptic... Heh. I would love to travel the world; Egypt is the next place on my list. I love fantasy and sci-fi, and I have a nostalgic place in my heart for anime/manga as well. I love all kinds of music except for most rap, generally speaking. I love trying out different styles of dress, too! One day I'll do jeans and a tee... the next I'll be in a classy dress... then I'll be a hippie for a week, and then back to Plain Jane. I love singing, drawing, reading, writing, horseback riding, yoga even though I'm out of practice, paganism, Tarot, cats... Please feel free to send me a message!

If it matters, a brief physical discription of myself in case the photos don't do well enough: I'm nearly 5'3" and I have wheat-colored, straight hair down to the middle of my back. My eyes are blue, but they turn gray when it's overcast. I'm described as "cuddly" by my best friend; I have a healthy amount of substance, but am not obese in any way. I have small hands and feet and I have a pair of glasses that I love. :)

I'm currently spending my junior year of college studying abroad in England. I had planned on double-majoring in French and Religious Studies, but in the interest of getting out sooner, I'm going to drop R.S. down to a minor and graduate a semester early, I hope. I go to a woman's college that recently went co-ed against its students wishes, and I despise being there, now. That being said, I love learning. I will not go to grad school - I would find it incredibly tedious and limiting. I plan to live... I'm not sure whether I'll volunteer abroad, travel, etc. or settle down immediately for a family life, but I never want to stop experiencing life.

I don't think I excel at anything, although my friends and parents might say differently. But I'll hesitantly say that I'm "above average" at the following: writing, singing, learning languages, understanding abstract concepts, listening, telling the truth, drawing, being tolerant of others' beliefs, cuddling, and yoga (when I'm not out of practice - which, unfortunately, I am at the moment).

I guess that people notice that I'm short! At slightly less than 5'3", I don't exactly stand out in a crowd. They also notice my hair - it's fairly long, for the first time in my life! :)
