I'm a fit 116 lbs (exercise at least 2 times per week). I'm
comfortable in jeans at Fenway or in a pub watching the Patriots, in a little
black dress for dinner & dancing, or in sweats on the couch
with Chinese & a DVD. I'm attracted to someone who, like me, is
independent, dependable, honest, open-minded, playful &
confident (a little cocky is ok as long as you treat people with

I'm really good at
Starting my Christmas shopping right after Thanksgiving, making
lasagna, driving, chewing gum, driving while chewing gum, getting
up to go to work after hitting the snooze 3-4 times, being on time
(for everything but work), stomach crunches, organizing my to do
list, procrastinating everything on my to do list, choosing who
should get booted off reality shows, driving my ride-on lawn mower,
grilling burgers, balancing my checkbook, being optomistic, buying
magazines that I never find time to read, recycling newspapers,
picking the wrong lottery numbers, clipping my cats claws, playing
hearts on the computer, making cosmos, booking flights on line,
volunteering for at least one Jimmy Fund event each year, getting
my annual check-ups, and pretending to myself that I will sell all
my unwanted stuff on ebay.

They think I am quiet....eventually people learn that they were
wrong :)
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
My favorite books tend to be a little futuristic or magical such as
the J.D. Robb "In Death" series, Harry Potter or books by Anne
Rice.
My favorite movies tend to be sci-fi/action/magical (Independence Day, Total Recall, Van Helsing, Harry Potter, Willow, Clash of the Titans), comedy (40 Year old Virgin, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Birdcage, American Pie 2, Rockstar), or cop movies (Die Hard) - no chick flicks.....well, I do love The Devil Wears Prada. For TV, I mostly watch the Red Sox, but love certain reality shows (Project Runway, Top Design, Sheer Genius, What Not to Wear, Clean House). I also like House and the CSIs.
My music interests are varied and depend on my mood - usually 70s, 80s, classic rock, pop or country. My all-time favorites are Stevie Nicks, Beatles, Bon Jovi, Kate Bush, Pat Benatar, former Boston bands Farrenheit and Beloved Few and current Boston bands Mamakicks and Fortune. However, I usually like specific songs, rather than specific artists or styles.
My food favorites list is Thanksgiving dinner, shrimp cooked any way (cocktail, sauteed, sushi, grilled), a Big Mac & fries (though it is only a rare treat), Italian, Chinese, pizza, prime rib, a healthy salad, garlic bread or just about anything with garlic, sausage sandwich at Fenway, Kahlua, and, of course, chocolate. My least liked foods are lobster, coffee, peas, peppers and liver. Too much information?

The six things I could never do without
Well, assuming I have the obvious....sun, water, air, food, healthy
body, family & friends, etc...then, for now, I will say - my 2
cats, my computer, my house on Sebago Lake, music, my car, and some
good books to read.....but these may change as I think about it
more.
