In a nutshell, I'm a geek; an open-minded, big-hearted, witty and sarcastic fellow.

A small list of activities I enjoy include reading, gaming in general, basketball, involved and thought-provoking conversation, watching good movies, spending time with my friends (including but not limited to enjoying a drink), going to concerts, visiting friends in Vegas, and spending time with my family.

I've done a lot of thinking about life over the past 10 years. I haven't come up with many conclusions, but the biggest thing I've discovered is that I enjoy the journey of life, the experience of it, rather than worrying about the destination.

I love making people laugh. I love to laugh. I can appreciate most senses of humor, though my own tends to be on the witty, sarcastic side.

I have almost no shame and will make a goof out of myself at every possibility. I consider this one of my best personality traits.

I love nature, and would absolutely love to find a hiking buddy.

I want to help the world, but I'm not sure how best to do this other than trying to be a good person. "Be the change you want to see in the world."

The only thing I can't stand in others is the lack of having an open mind. "I am intolerant of intolerance."

I consider myself to have excellent communication skills, and absolutely love talking and listening and listening and talking back and forth for hours. Getting to know someone is one of my favorite things in life. Interestingly enough, I have a particularly crummy memory. Oh well!

I hate when people make fun of other peoples' interests and likes in music, movies, books, etc.

Soon to be returning to school, working to pay the bills.

Witty sarcasm. Cuddling. Being a smart-ass. Waiting tables. Analyzing literature. Having good conversations. Caring.

My big smile, cheery disposition, and addictive laughter -- and my hair when it's long & curly (these days it's buzzed short, though).

I have broad interests in all 4 sections.

General interests in:
Books: Fantasy & Sci-Fi.
Movies: Almost anything good that makes me think, moves me, makes me laugh, or makes me cheer.
Music: Rather broad. I even like some bits of country, classical, and rap/hip-hop. Mostly alt/rock/indie, with some techno and mainstream stuff thrown in.
Food: Anything indulgent! Particularly italian, mexican, sushi and chinese food.

Food: Vegetable tempura

All-time favorites:
Book: Ender's Game (2nd place: 1984)
Movie: Braveheart (2nd place: Shawshank Redemption)
Song: probably... Beat it, by the king of pop! Or Under Pressure by Queen, or More Than A Feeling by Boston, hrm.
Food: bagels & cream cheese. why? because you can do so much with it, and it's delicious, easy to make and sometimes take on the go! Sushi also deserves honorable mention here. If I could make it and eat it at home, it would easily be first place.

High-speed internet. Being in the middle of a good book. New & interesting music. My family. My searching intellect. Aaaaannndndndndndndndndndndnd.... let's go with pets. The unconditional love of a pet is irreplaceable!

Myself and my future, and a bit about humanity and the expanse of the universe. I enjoy engaging in philosophical discussion and contemplation of most varieties, so I challenge you to engage me!

If I'm not working, then hanging out with friends, going out, hitting a bar, going to movies, etc. Being social, ideally. Nights in are always good with the right company.

I've cried at movies, and I'm not ashamed of it.

You like geeks, nerds, friendly, funny and caring people. You don't have to flat out be a geek or nerd, but you must at least like & understand them. ;)

And if you can name the comedian who is a British transvestite and amazingly funny.
