I am hungry, gingerbread, and balloon.
My Self-Summary
This really needs updating, but I don't have the time now, so I'll
do it later. But in short, I'm a graduate, I'm looking to work in
the charity sector in a communications role, and I've only really
logged in again to help a mate with his profile.
What I’m doing with my life
I have no idea exactly how this box is different from the self
summary, so basically, look there.
I’m really good at
selling. I can get overexcited about things, find the interesting
things, and sell them well.
As long as it's not myself. I'm awful at selling myself.
The first things people usually notice about me
"I have no idea. If I'm drunk, it's my loudness, if I'm sober in a
new place, it's my quietness. I probably come off as a bit
standoffish immediately, but that's because I like to be completely
aware of my surroundings before I dive in. Soon as I'm comfortable,
everyone's my new best friend.
I'm also a bit small, and apparently surprisingly intimidating when
I want to be."
This has probably been up here for about 6 years, and I don't think
it's changed.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I used to be a proper bookworm, but not so much these last few
years, just haven't had the time, and don't really know where to
go. If you recommend something, I'll read it though.
Foodwise, I pretty much like anything that fits into the following
groups; "traditional" "exotic" "stodge" or "lots of different
little things". So, for example, fish chips, and saveloy, chicken
curry (never readymeal curries though), kebabs, sushi, porridge,
pizza, pasta, pies, potatoes, tapas, pasties, roast dinner, prawn
curry, bowl of salad with lots of bits, that sort of thing.
Oh, and steak. A properly done medium-rare steak with good chips is
a meal from Heaven. Oh, and some salad to look nice. (I like salad,
but come on, who really eats it??)
Don't try and convert me to vegetarianism. You will not win.
I never used to be a film person until these last few years, but
doing an English degree has meant that I've had three years of
being unable to read as procrastination. So, TV and films have
filled that gap.
The six things I could never do without
Air, Light, Water, Nutrition, Distractions, Shiny things, Music.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
very disjointed but ultimately logical trains of thought.
On a typical Friday night I am
Dunno. Depends on whos around, where I am, what the cash flow
situation is like, and what mood I'm in. <-- Again, I see no
reason to change this...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
...
This makes no sense. If something is private, it is private, e.g.
you don't tell anyone except those very close. It's like shouting
into a megaphone "I HAVE A SECRET AND IT IS.. " It's not a secret
anymore then, is it??
Okay, how about this; I can be irritatingly pedantic sometimes, but
it's not because I mean it, it's because I'm bored so I want a
debate.
You should message me if
You honest to god have nothing better to do. Or you're not a
psychopath and you fancy a chat.
Now really.. Are you SURE your other
procrastinational* activites
have been used up?
*highlighted because I wonder if anyone else would use the word
"procrastinational" in an everyday sentence...
