My self-summary
I'm smart, geeky and got a good head on my shoulders. I try to follow a Taoism life, but I fail at times. I know how to listen and I enjoy giving hugs (I've also been told that I'm quite good at them). I'm also very much a Sapiosexual (Meaning that if you ask me to recite the Fibonacci sequence, I may have to marry you).

For years, I had the 1 partner belief and I convinced myself that this was the way things are supposed to be. I mean, c'mon. How could someone love more than one person? Then several people in my life showed me how. Now, my questions on this topic more revolve around, "How could I have thought that I have a limited amount of love to give"? So yes, I'm poly.

Having said that, I'm a bit odd when it comes to being poly. If I am in a relationship, I don't usually seek out other people unless some need isn't being filled and my partner is unable or unwilling to do so. Even if that was the case, I would make sure that my partner was ok with me doing so before I actually did it. So once I have someone, I tend to be with only them.

So how am I poly? Simple. If someone else dropped into my lap (while I had a partner) and I get the feeling that I want to explore this, I want to be able to discuss it with my partner at the time and see if I should explore this without any hurt feelings. As long as my partner is comfortable with me doing this, then I would explore it. So I'm "mono-poly"?

and having said THAT, I do have a sweetie back in Portland, OR who comes out when she can (or I see her when I head out to see my son). She knows that I am looking for someone and I'd be happy for her if she found someone in Portland as well seeing as how long distance relationships are tough to do. So we accept it and when we can see each other, we do.

Kink is very important to me as well. I simply can not be with someone romantically if they are not in any way kinky. While a good relationship isn't just about sex, if you aren't GGG, then you should probably take a pass on me since I will be sure to be GGG to you. I have lots of interests that you may find exciting and amazing. :)

To those reading this far, I do need to let you know that I have an AWESOME kid. He is 13 years old currently and loves to discuss science and absorbs that kind of info like a sponge. He lives with his mom in Oregon (about a 7 hour drive away) and I see him as often as money allows. I am NOT looking for you to have any interaction with him. If any interaction happens, it will be after months of making sure you are going to be in my life for a long time to come.

I am funny, geeky, and kinky. I also dislike describing myself in 3 words. :)

I practice a "Fuck Yes or No" pattern when I date (
What I’m doing with my life
Lots of things... Let me explain... No... There is too much... Let me sum up...

1) I'm currently working on a space simulator called "Project Elpis ( It's a 5 person bridge crew that flies a starship and blows up things. I make the web backend for it where there are planets, an economy and lots of other amazing and cool things.

2) I run 5th Wall Gaming ( where we do LARPS for Conventions and Corporate events.

3) I am always trying to learn new things and expand my knowledge any way I can.
I’m really good at
Web Development (ColdFusion is NOT dead... ColdFusion is life) (Bonus points to you if you get the reference).

I've been told I'm a good hugger and kisser by more then one woman.

Karaoke. Mostly Weird Al songs, but I have been known to tell the KJ to put on a song, then sing a parody of it. :)

I'm really good at reading people's body language. Too good at times.

I can take an idea and run with it. Coming up with that initial spark is difficult for me, but once I have the initial concept, I can run with it and make it more awesome.

But yeah. I kick ass with web development. :)
The first things people usually notice about me
My left leg was injured in a bus accident and I walk with a limp and a cane. Not to worry though, I pull off the look as well as Mr. Gold does. ;)

(For those who don't get the reference,
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
A) Hrm... I like Ender's Game and the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series (I actually used to have the leather bound 6 book collection). Good Omens also is pretty high up there. Strangely, I also enjoy reading about wrestlers of old (You know, when wrestling was better).

B) Depends on my mood really. I like anywhere from the Matrix to Made in Heaven (Look it up. It's a great movie). Lately, I've been interested in action movies. Iron Man Kicked some serious butt. :)

C) All kinds except thrash metal. Mostly like Weird Al though. Some of his newer stuff isn't as good as it used to be... but then again, perhaps my taste is changing.

D) I've always been a Steak man myself. Nothing like a good rib eye and some potatoes. :)

So I am putting this ( here so you can see what kind of stuff on YouTube I like. Enter at your own risk. :)
The six things I could never do without
1) My Computer & Internet connection (Yes, they are one and the same. Phbtt)
2) My Kid
3) Food
4) Water
5) Shelter
6) The contents of the world in a bag of holding.

This is not in order of course. Why did I put numbers? Fnord!

If you don't know what Fnord is, then FNORD!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
the future. Relationships and my place in them. Since realizing I'm poly, I've come to find out the hardest thing about it is simply time management.

I also like thinking about science. All kinds of fields. Astronomy, Quantum Physics, Sexuality, Mad, etc.

I also think about a lot of other things, but you will just have to ask me that in person. :)
On a typical Friday night I am
Depends... If it's not a convention weekend, relaxing at home. Probably working on a website or two or playing a board or card game with my friends. I am a big time gamer.

If it IS a convention weekend, I do this...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm pretty open and I'm willing to answer any question you have honestly. Just don't ask questions you may not want to hear the answer to. :)
You should message me if
There used to be a cute javascript rule down here. I got rid of it because some people were too confused by it.

Look, I'd appreciate if you message me. Seriously, who DOESN'T want to see a new message pop up from someone?

But message me if you found my profile interesting and want to get to know me better. All messages returned. So no, I don't want to take part in your survey and I don't want to send you money so you can send me a million dollars.

So if you see we share the same interests or if you see that we may get along as friends, message me and see what happens.

I should also mention that I'm not an A-List person. So likes are unknown to me. Send me a message instead. :) Also, this means that I can't see if you read the message. So please, if I message you and you are not interested, just send me a message back and say, "Sorry. I'm not interested". This way, I know what is going on and I can move on. Otherwise, it's just still hanging out there and I have no idea if you are not interested or if you just haven't written back or if you read it and are taking a few days to write back. Help me out here and just tell me what's happening. :)
