Reading a self summary is liking walking into a persons room or looking at their book shelves. Wonderful for inferences and guess work, but most importantly you can get an almost visceral sense of someone without ever having talked. This self summary is more like a hoarders basement that spans multiple floors with windy hallways. Apologies in advance.
I finished up my degree at scad (art school) for film/video a few years ago, and have since been doing film/video freelance work (music videos, cool films/ads, documentaries, lame corporate commercials, etc) and I love it. I live in a big five person house with some good friends where games and watchings occur often and pleasantly. My room is essentially a hobbit hole and is possibly the coziest place ever.
Things I greatly care about: stories, music, film, art, video games, mythology, cuddling, writing, nature, philosophy, and creatures. I also spend a lot of time climbing, enjoying coffee houses, meeting interesting people, and thinking of/studying generally abnormal things.
Barnes and Noble and I spend lots of time together. I'm not huge on clubs or bars UNLESS they have awesome live music and people who dance even if they suck (this is me). I love music, occasionally try to learn violin, and think adventure time is one of the greatest advents of our time. There are few things I fall in love with more than artisticness, kind heartedness, affinity for geeky things, and intentional open mindedness.
It took a number of years to really hammer out what can attract me in the deep, intrinsic ways everyone wants to find, but I've come up with a fair idea. It happens when someone knows the difference between beauty and basic physical attractiveness; that knows how to love as well as how to be loved; That can laugh with me at random cat/japanese/ridiculous videos and then go hiking/traveling and talk about how awesome life is. I usually find myself most attracted to emotional people, but not weak ones. That, and awesome/weird hair colors. I love people who have a deep affinity for comfortable warm silences, telling stories, laughing, being creative, and people. If you do, you should let me know so I can bug you to hang out.
Also. I make pokemon jokes on a semi-regular basis, and this profile is far too long.
