My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I tell people I'm a "nerd" because I sort of fall into that category. My interests include guinea pigs, etymology, science, myth and folklore, video games, biology, taxidermy, good design, internet pop culture, and art.

I enjoy classifying my personality through symbols. I enjoy talking about my feelings through metaphors. My spirit animal is the rabbit, my spirit pokemon is Absol.

I'm a swear bear, unfortunately this makes me seem less linguistically skilled but fuck it. People tell me I have an interesting way of using language, and I like that.

Things I Hate: (because I think agreeing on hating things is almost as important as agreeing on liking things):
Fox News.
Youtube comments on animal videos.
Crowds of strangers.
How weird the word "successfully" is.
Awkward silence.
The fact that every single person and institution basically has no idea what's going on and is essentially just "winging it".
Not being extraordinary.
How being myself is just generally not conducive to societal success.
People trying to be normal.

Also I hate generalized small talk, specifically being asked "how are you" by strangers. If I had a nickle for every time some woefully unimaginative and shallow guy messaged me "Hey how u doin" I'd have about tree fiddy.

If I had tree fiddy for every time someone has just typed a line relating to the aforementioned South Park reference as a pick-up, I might have about $38.50.

If I had $38.50 for every time someone has messaged me with a South Park "tree fiddy" joke since I added the above to my profile, I'd have $0. Isn't reading amazing?
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I really thought I'd have that figured out by now, and it a source of intense disappointment to me that I don't. But it's also a source of intense disappointment to me that Mac's don't have right click buttons.

Right now I work in low level IT and do freelance digital art on the side. I'd like to get involved in more design projects and get a job doing something artistic that could validate my college experience.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Creative problem solving, designing people in my head and design theory. Taking things too seriously. Loving small furry animals. Predicting the future.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My hair. Its short and I love it that way.

That or my incredible cynicism, or my even more incredible self-loathing.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: A Song of Ice and Fire, His Dark Materials Trilogy, Ready Player One, Brave New World, Ender's Game, Fahrenheit 451, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Carl Sagan, Ray Bradbury.

Movies: Movies that are thought provoking and honest, movie that are fun and humorous, and movies that are well animated. I really appreciate traditional animation, its fucking HARD, and it's a dying art.

Shows: Comedy, Documentary, Sci-Fi, Anime & Cartoons. Archer, South Park, Parks and Rec, Adventure Time, The Amazing World of Gumball, QI, A Bit of Fry and Laurie, That Mitchell and Webb Look, Star Trek: TNG, Firefly, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

Music: Indie, Folk, Musicals, etc. Cloud Cult, Sea Wolf, Yeasayer, theme songs to shows that get stuck in my head.

Food: Pretty much anything that is fresh and well prepared. Sushi. Mediterranean food. Thai food. Barbeque. Pizza. Pasta. Sandwiches.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In no meaningful order:

1. The Internet
2. Soft furry animals to cuddle
3. Good food
3. Dual monitors
4. My mom
6. Chaos
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why. New tactics for my ongoing battle against obscurity. How I would fare in a post-apocalyptic world. Whether I should blog. Why I visit this website. WTF I'm doing with my life.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Drunk, high, and watching anime/netflix on the couch.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I like playing Dress-up.
Also I can't ride a bike. I am willing to learn, if you're willing to teach.

BAM! 2 private things I just admitted. So honest and forthright!

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You write well for yourself, you have a good sense of humor, and you promise to type at least one complete sentence with 10 words or more. Extra consideration is given if you achieve a paragraph.

Or if you have great hair and a sweet beard, that kinda does it for me.
