My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
NOTA BENE: If you like me on the quick match, message me!! I want to know who is liking my profile

I am looking for someone to hangout with and have a good time. If it leads to more, I'd be open to the possibility. I am intelligent, compassionate, and opinionated, so, ladies, if that appeals to you, drop me a message!

Btw, if you find me interesting and notice I am online, do not be afraid to IM me on here. I enjoy having conversations with people.

I guess my self summary is incomplete. My name is Joe, and I am currently a senior in college. I am a bit of a geek and am a major professional wrestling fan. I love having long discussions on politics, religion, economics, science and philosophy. I was born and raised Lutheran (ELCA). Even though I am limited by my lack of sight, it does not mean that I am totally helpless. My main limitation, albeit one of the most frustrating ones at times, is that I cannot (or should not *lol*) drive. Even though I am majoring in the Humanities, I am, fundamentally, a man of science by nature. The only reason I have not considered a major in the sciences is due to my difficulties with labs.

I am a teetotaler. I do not drink alcohol and am not comfortable around it. No tobacco, no alcohol, no illegal drugs. Also, I cannot be around cats. It is not that I dislike them- I love animals and cats can be adorable- rather that I am rather allergic to them.

Btw, I do have a strong preference for interracial dating, especially black women or African women. If you want to know why I have that preference, message me about it :)

One thing that totally confuses me since I joined here is why many of the women on here who are plus-size feel they need to underscore that fact in their profiles. Most of us can make a pretty good guess as to your body build if you have a good profile picture, event those of us (such as myself) who are blind *lol* Trust me, as a guy, I gotta say that I highly doubt many of us are really attracted to the skinny size zeros. If you mention something about media/popular culture, fuck them! If you are skinny and healthy, be happy with that. If you are chubby and healthy, be happy with that. Being able to do the things you enjoy in life is what is important.

Personally, I am more attracted to fuller figured women (BBW, curvy, full figured, chubby, whatever terms you prefer to use). Bigger women can be very beautiful and belly can be cute if you ask me.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Completed a major in Classical Studies and a minor in Religion. I just have my capstone/senior thesis course left after this semester. I had thought of becoming a pastor for the last 14-16 years (yes, I've wanted to be a pastor since I was a little kid *lol*), but as I am going through senior year, I know I won't go straight to seminary, something I am not so sure God is calling me to do anymore. To be honest, the fact that I would not go straight to seminary is something I realized early in my college career, hence I was planning to be a teacher. Later on, I realized that the politics of the public education system annoyed me. Not the students, mind you, but dealing with my fellow teachers and school administrators, along with some parents (namely, the apathetic ones or the ones who are offended that the curriculum doesn't indoctrinate everyone into their own theological/ideological worldview *death glares at parents on both sides of the aisle*- both are annoying in their own way). Also, I did not feel confident enough in my knowledge of the subject matter to be an effective teacher. Since I planned to be a Latin teacher, I took a look at my Latin and Greek and other classics courses and realized I had enough to spin it into a Classical Studies degree. At any rate, I plan to start looking for my first job, which may or may not be related to ministry, in the middle of Fall 2014- my final semester of college.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
-writing
-being compassionate
-being romantic
-discussing politics, religion, history, or language
-mathematics
-being funny
-finding weird or funny or interesting things on the internet (from a fully livable house under 200 square feet to tasty recipes, from hilarious anime to well written, thought provoking documentaries, and everything in between)
-I am a very loving and gentle soul, who is also capable of being a smartass when the need arises.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Besides what I listed in the my details section? I am legally blind, and use a cane to navigate, but sometimes my hands are so full, that it gets hard to navigate sometimes. However, if you can get past that, you'll (hopefully) find a nice, funny guy who is interesting to talk to. Don't be surprised if I make (several) lame jokes about my sight, or lack thereof. I am often asked how much I can see, with my typical response being "enough to get me into trouble... not enough to get me out! *haha*

I've been told by many people that I have a nice smile and am a very joyful and friendly young man. My parents have told me I have perfect ears and many people, young and old, male and female, have said I have beautiful eyes.

I can also be somewhat shy, so if I have checked out your profile, but not messaged you, I might be trying to work up the courage to message you. Feel free to message me to break the ice- I won't bite, but I'll most certainly respond.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I like Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Zatch Bell, the first two seasons of Digimon, most 80s and 90s era programming (when Disney channel still had cartoons and good movies, when History Channel was actually about history), Power Rangers. Impact Wrestling, WWE Raw/Smackdown, old AWA matches on ESPN Classic.

I like country and rock, and I happen to be a bass-baritone, thus I tend to find sopranos and tenors to be grating to the ear- especially when they hit the high notes!

I like most foods, but I don't care for raw onions, celery, or green peppers that much... picky, picky *lol* As for specific cuisines- I like German, Chinese, Italian, Thai/Vietnamese (I love Kindho- a Vietnamese/Thai restaurant in Uptown Minneapolis). I like Italian sodas and various types of coffee/latte/mocha/capuccino (sp?).

My favorite meals are either hotdishes (or, as some call them, casseroles) or boneless porkchops cooked in a cream of mushroom soup gravy with rice (I really, really like rice).

Warning, I do like lutefisk, lefse, headcheese, and pickled herring.

Movies? [Insert action/adventure or comedy here] I especially like Inspector Gadget, Gladiator, and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My family
My friends
My faith in God
My Bible
My long white cane
My magnifier
Paper and pencils
A couple stuffed animals (i.e. teddy bears and such)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
If I'll be able to find a gf who lives nearby. It has been a couple years since I've been in a real life dating relationship. I kinda miss having someone to hangout with and to cuddle with, tbh. However, I don't plan on walking down the aisle until I am done with college, I want to make sure I can help support a household to the best of my ability before considering marriage. Especially since I hope to have a large family someday (at least 3-4 kids, hopefully more).

Religion and politics, mainly. Whether or not I am following God's will in my life. Socialist politics (I lean pretty far left- I distrust Big Government because of their incompetence and corruptability and I also, equally, distrust Big Business due to its unquenchable greed, its social and ecological irresponsibility, its pervasiveness, and its tendency towards fostering parasitic aristocracy that corrupts the state whose powers are supposed to derive from the people). I also like to create languages and fictional worlds in my spare time. I also like to think about micronationalism and what my ideal country would be like- I've got some ideas sketched out about what it would be like.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Surfing the web, working on schoolwork (papers, reading assignments, et cetera), or watching professional wrestling- or any combination thereof. Possibly chatting with my cousin, Quasispill on Facebook, or chatting with other friends on Skype or Facebook.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I like it when girls take initiative and make the first move when flirting. I want a confident girl in my life :)

I believe the wrestler CM Punk phrased it best- "I lack a filter between my brain and my mouth." You know how most people have that voice in them that says, "I would not say that out loud if I were you"? Well, mine is defective or nonexistant.

However, I don't mean to intentionally hurt others. I have no malice towards anybody, and am quick to apologize for being too abrasive.
