My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Let me preface this by saying I am here for a relationship. Not one night stands, friends with benefits or booty calls. I do not care to make "friends" or to just chat. I do not want a long-distance pen pal. If you live outside of the immediate Kansas City metro or further than 25miles from Zona Rosa do not waste your time or mine by sending a message. I am here in an attempt to find a man who I can settle down, marry, start and raise a family with and to grow old together. All that said, about me:

I am an independent, self-sufficient woman. I have a job, my own car and apartment. I work part time on the weekends and am a student. I will graduate MWSU in May 2017 with a bachelor's of Medical Lab Science.

I do not have any big vices except coffee which is the only form of caffeine I consume. I rarely drink soda or tea. I do, very rarely, drink alcohol. I did quit smoking on 1/19/12. I have never been into drugs of any shape or form, including weed. I rarely gamble as I tend to loose and have a bit of an attachment to the money I work hard to earn.

I do not enjoy the city life but it works for where I am in my life. I would like to move to a small town when it comes time to settle down and start a family.

When I started my job at UKHA I took the chance to change my eating habits. I am working hard at eating right and getting into better physical shape. I hope to find a man who is also on the journey to being healthy or someone that can support me in words and actions. One thing I learned when I finally, successfully, quit smoking was that the people I surrounded myself played a large part in my journey.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a student, I commute to MWSU. I work part time on the weekends at KU Hospital in the lab. I should graduate with my BS in Lab Science in May 2017.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
being serious, being goofy, cooking, listening and utterly grossing you out about "germs."
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Physically, hair and/or smile. Personally, how responsible and reliable I am.

Right now I enjoy reading anything written by Linda Howard which is a mystery romance author. Honestly, most of my reading is for school.

I like just about all genres of movies but tend to watch comedies and dramas the most. I love a good horror flick when I have a shoulder to hide behind.

I will watch almost any TV show unless it's raunchy, vulger, or a real life series. No Hills, Real World, etc. those shows drive me bonkers, lol. Currently, I always stop channel surfing for CSI, House, Swamp People, and Urban Tarzan.

I mostly listen to country music. I do listen to the newer artists and groups, however, I also listen to the old greats of Conway, Merle, Loretta, The Judds, Patty, Dolly, Keith, etc. I love how the music is more then words, it a way of life. There is a song for anything, from drinking, to loves lost or new love, fighting cancer to praising God. Sometimes I will listen to oldies from the 50s, 60s, and 70s or take it back to 1997-2005 rap/hiphop hits.

As for good eats. I love flavorful chinese, the hibachi japanese grills and mexican. Otherwise give me good ole american foods. I'm not a fan of the food fads, no sushi, no thai, nothing like that.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Family 2. friends 3. phone 4. car 5. shelter 6. money
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My future--finishing my bachelors, having a great career and finding that special man to share my life with and have a family with.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I am in bed around 8pm on Friday and Saturday nights, if not earlier, because I get up at 2:30am on Saturday and Sunday mornings for work. I wake up sooner if there is a chance I will have to navigate bad road conditions.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My dream job is actually to be a stay at home mom. I have done a lot for my working career in the laboratory but it is not my deepest desire.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If you can accept that I still have a couple years journey on the road to achieve my bachelor's and support my studies.

If you can accept that I am a country girl. I like country music. I like outdoor activities. I do not spend a lot of time or money on appearances: nails, hair, cosmetics, etc.

If you can support my journey to be a healthier me. Keep in mind I am currently plus-sized but even as I slim down, I will still be plus-sized. I have hips and a rear, which is genetic. Many men have quoted an old song because I "got it from my momma."

If you have a child or children: I will someday want at least one biological child. That said, I will treat your child(ren) the same as my own biological.

If you are independent yourself. You are looking for someone to spend time with.

I prefer to date men taller so the taller you are the better, but please be at least 5'11" to message me. No addictions, past or present. No criminal record.
