Hi!

I am a single/never marrried woman, 38 years old and looking for freinds in the La Crosse area. I don't get out a whole lot, but enjoy activities like dancing, bowling, going to movies, taking a walk in one of the parks or even just down the street. Sometimed I just like to plop down on the couch and watch TV. I'm not into the bar scene, but did spend time there in my twenties and early thirties when I was in the Navy--there wasn't a whole lot else to do. I would like to find a guy that is honest and trustworthy and is looking for more than just a fling.

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit

I am currently working retail but looking for a new job that will accomodate muy continuing education. I intned to get a degree in education and teach American History.

I'm really good at understanding other people, and listening to their problems. I consider myself fairly intelligent about the issues of the day, and although grounded in my own beliefs and standards, am open to looking at all sides and respecting other opinions.

I think the first thing people notice aobut my physically is my hair. Personality-wise I'd have to say mt manner and bearing. I'm very polite.(people have said I'm too nice for my own good) And I have a great compassion for others.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food Propose an edit

My favorite book is anything by Nora Roberts or Dean Koontz. One of my favorite movies is "The Day After Tomorrow", all the Star Trek (OK, mostly IV) and James Bond. (Pierce Brosnan is my favorite, but no one compares to the original Bond, Sean Connery). The TV shows I particularly like are Star Trek, the X-Files, Walker, Texas Ranger, 7th Heaven, Cold Case, and CSI. I mostly listen to Country and Classical music, but also like Christian, 50's Rock and roll, Jazz and some 70's and 80's. I hate rap and hip-hop. My favorite food is Italian. Fettucini, Lasagna, Spaghetti, Ravioli, Manicotti, and pizza. I love the cream sauced and cheese. I'm not crazy about tomatoes and mushrooms, though, so I usually stick to fettucini.

I spend a lot of time thinking about Propose an edit

I spend a klot of time thinking about the past; how I wish I'd done some things differently and regretting some mistakes I've made, but then I look toward the future and how to apply what I've learned in the past to my daily life. I also look to the future and consider how to accomplish my goals.

On a typical Friday night I am Propose an edit

Working. It's almost impossible to get a Friday night off, although I arrange about one a month. I have season tickets to the La Crosse Symphony Orchestra. I would prefer to spend it with friends at a club or a movie, or a romantic evening alone with my guy.
