My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am outgoing and social, but enjoy the occasional quiet night in. I love to laugh and having a good sense of humor is very attractive to me. I enjoy intellectual conversations as well as spontaneous adventures. I think balance is important. Sit tight for this profile because it's lengthy.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Coming from the least populated state in the US, I have always had big city dreams. I went to ASU and have a degree in interior design and architecture. The highlights of my college career were my opportunities to travel abroad. I interned in London in 2011, and the previous summer I did an architecturally focused study abroad in Italy. I graduated in May 2012, and in what felt like a fluke, was offered my dream job as an interior designer in New York. In two weeks I packed up everything and moved to the city. With my high on life mentality - the city is even more amazing then I ever imagined. I have a constant desire to explore every inch of it, and would love to find someone to do that with.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Even though it is so hard to find time for all the stuff that I love, I try to stay active. I enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, biking, snowboarding, skiing, wake boarding, and water skiing. I also come from a very musical family, so I have a love and passion for music. I am a singer - even though I do a lot less than I used to. I have a particular fondness for jazz music, but there are very few genres that I don't enjoy. I also salsa dance, blog, and participate in various professional organizations in my free time.

I would love for someone to participate with me in these things, but also introduce me to something new. I saw someone write this once and I am stealing it: I would like to find someone who is both interested and interesting.

I love many things, so I don’t have a lot of favorites. I will say, however, what I am into currently.

Right now I have The Singularity Is Near playing in my ear during my commute. The book that I think about most in my day to day life is How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie. Just finished The Charisma Myth which complements Dale's book nicely. I am halfway through Cracking Creativity by Michael Michalko, How Pleasure Works, DesignWorks by Heather Fraser, and What Technology Wants by Kevin Kelly. I’m on a science binge right now – it’s weird for me too. I just joined a book club which I am really excited about.

I don't have a TV but watch shows on Netflix and Hulu. I recently realized I haven't seen many movies. I don't know how it happened - I have apparently just been doing other things my whole life. If you are a movie buff, don't judge me - show me what I am missing out on.

Music is the worst of them all. I will never have a favorite song or band. But I have a few things going on that are awesome:
1. Latin + Salsa + Jazz + Pink Martini playlist
2. Strange electronic band called Mount Kimbie (found it on NPR)
3. Valerie June’s entire album
4. The Weeknd + Jai Paul + Lorde playlist

I eat everything, but tacos are my favorite food. I don't really consider salad a meal.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Assuming that I have the basic needs:

- Family, Friends yes yes of course
- Laughter – huge- would die without it
- The internet – not facebook – the world wide web of knowledge and information. Sandy reaffirmed this for me.
- Music
- Candy
- Lists
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to be a well-balanced person.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
In college, I accidently submitted a 10 page honors paper in my Architecture History class with the title:

“Gothic Architecture and Shit”
