Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a lot of things. A social butterfly and arts enthusiast. A law
student. A comedian. A home brewer and fan of classic cocktails.
More than anything, I'm a nice, intelligent guy who likes to laugh
and listen. Well-educated and ambitious, but by no means
I believe that we should always be learning something in life, so I
am constantly cultivating my curiosities, and seeking new ones to
explore. Of course, I want to learn about whatever is important to
you. I'm something of a film buff, everything from silent films to
this year's Oscar bait, so you should be eager to go into film
analysis mode as soon as we get out of the ten o'clock showing of
Dallas Buyer's Club.
The first thing I look for in a woman is that she is a good person.
Intelligence is 1(a). There's nothing I like more than a
sophisticated girl who can carry on a conversation.
Although I'm currently disgusted with the malfunctioning of our
political system, politics are important to me, and should be to
you. Even if we disagree, that's 100 times better than one of us
not having a stance at all. I can be civil and cool-headed and
still get butterflies around you.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Just finished law school. Spending my days with my nose firmly
planted in law books until I take the bar exam this summer. After
that I will be clerking for a judge.
I'm also the Editor-in-Chief of a legal publication focusing on
public interest issues. I used to have a pretty high tolerance for
spelling and grammar issues, but this seems to be lessening with
each passing day.
I recently fell under the spell of that most American of
addictions: going to the gym. I go for a couple hours pretty much
every day, and have lost forty pounds over the past three months.
So, take that information into account when looking at my photos
and trying to decide whether I'm JUST good-looking, or ridiculously

Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.

My sense of humor. I'm a pretty snazzy dresser. Oh, and the beard.

Books: I'm mostly a history reader, though I've jumped into the
world of literature this winter. I was enthralled with This Is How
You Lose Her by Junot Diaz, and with A Visit From The Goon Squad. I
also read a lot of cultural criticism and humor. Chuck Klosterman
and Nathan Rabin are must-reads.
Movies: The Good Shepherd, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, The
Assassination of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford, The Silence
of the Lambs (scary, but the most feminist film I've ever seen),
Mud, Alexander, Anchorman, Old School, Shark Attack 3:
TV Shows: Happy Endings, New Girl, Community, Boardwalk Empire, The
Mindy Project, True Detective, The Americans, and Mad Men.
Music: Mostly Indie/Alternative and Hip-Hop. Bloc Party and the
Smiths are all time favorites.
Food: Italian, American Contemporary, French, Indian, Japanese.

I fight the law everyday, but by the end of the week, sometimes the
law wins. So some Fridays are spent rejuvenating. Other times, I'm
out for dinner with friends, and then (more often than not) out to
some cocktail lounge.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I went to a single sex high school. My first day of college, a girl
in a towel knocked on my door asking to borrow something. I
