There are two things that drive my life: a desire to learn and a desire to laugh. Although I have degrees and have done the whole post-grad thing, my curiosity could never be limited to the confines of a classroom. If I'm not learning, I don't feel like I'm living.
I love comedy. I've written scripts and sketches with friends, taken improv classes, and even tried my hand at stand up more than a few times. My impressions are the best (current favorites: Rand Paul and my neighbor's cat). My friends say I'm the life of the party, and while that's true, I definitely enjoy a quiet evening in or dinner out.
I'm ambitious. I had pretty humble beginnings, but I managed to overcome them and put myself through a top-flight college and law school, with energy to spare. There's this song, in the Broadway musical "Hamilton," where Aaron Burr laments Alexander's relentless work ethic: "Hamilton doesn't hesitate/He exhibits no restraint/He takes and he takes and he takes." That's pretty much me.
Outside of the courtroom, I write a lot. This year, I picked up boxing, and I love it. I've also been teaching myself guitar for the past couple of months.
I recently lost a bunch of weight, and haven't had the opportunity to take many pictures since reaching my goal. Hence, the relative lack of photos.

I'm partly responsible for the show Ancient Aliens being on TV.
