Hey! So I'm Lauren, I'm a big sci-fi/fantasy nerd, I love cartoons, I watch anime, I read comics/manga, I love movies, and my bookshelf is extensive. I'm majoring in Fine Arts, and I also like to keep busy and be creative. So basically anything that is stimulating to the imagination will catch my attention.
*I would say I'm quiet but enthusiastic
*I'm a fan of tattoos and alternative style
*I like to travel, but I don't like to drive(meaning I enjoy going for a drive, I just don't want to be behind the wheel)
*I prefer sweet and goofy over sarcastic (don't get me wrong, I enjoy sarcasm and dish it out frequently, but my experience with people who brag about their awesome sarcasm skills, is that they are only interested in being douche-bags who don't have to be responsible for their words)

Well like I said, Fine Arts, but that's just my AA, I'm not sure what specifically I'm going to pursue for my Bachelors Degree

But illustration is my dream job

I've worked part time in the library at my junior college as a student worker for 3 years but with me graduating and moving on to the University, I'm out of a job, so job hunting is currently on the menu

I'd like to travel world-wide some time in the next couple of years, see concerts, see the sights, experience different cultures, all that stuff

Currently attempting to achieve mermaid hair status. It's a life-long dream.

DIY projects, I love crafting, and I'm prone to making pretty elaborate birthday cards for people I care about

I'm observant and try to be tactful

everyone and their grandma likes to say I'm shy, but that's not quite true, I'm just cautious at first

other than that, I'm not sure, I do get all sorts of people stopping me to comment on my blue eyes

and if there is something to bump into, I WILL bump into it

*just about any kind of sci-fi fantasy novel, I love Neil Gaiman, Dianna Wynne Jones, Piers Anthony, and Weis & Hickman
and of course Lord of The Rings and Harry Potter

*My love of movies must not be underestimated, I adore the movie theater experience, and the only kind of movie I don't generally enjoy is a certain type of horror movie
I love Disney and I love movies by Hayao Miyazaki, one of my favorite movies of all times is Howl's Moving Castle

* Supernatural, Doctor Who(just starting it!), Teen Wolf, Adventure Time, Futurama, Walking Dead, American Horror Story

*I enjoy a very wide variety of music, and I do like going places where I can eat and enjoy some live music

* I'm slightly picky, but I love to eat, I just don't do sushi, and pasta is a hit or miss
generally I can find something to eat no matter where we go

fooling around with an art project, going to see a movie, on my laptop, usual stuff, I'm more active on the actual weekends than I am on fridays
