I'm just a man trying to live his life, trying to get through the day, trying to make it.

Making it - that's what it's all about. Making it to the front of the queue, the top of the heap. Gotta keep one step ahead of the competition in this rat race, right? Wrong. I try to take life's pleasures, both big and small, as they come to me. It's not about accumulating for tomorrow, it's about making the most of today; all the while keeping an eye out there to keep tomorrow from getting the best of you.

Life is the now, as well as an accumulation of the past, and if we're lucky that now continues on happily and joins our collection of experiences. I'm not sure what that all says about me though.

I used to be a geek, a nerd; there's nothing wrong with that - but I don't like to be pigeonholed. I gave up video games and made a New Year's resolution to be a better man in every way I can - to take every day in stride rather than fretting about how things didn't go my way; to make every day mine. That doesn't mean geek isn't still an appropriate label, it's just not the only label; and I'm just too busy to find the time for games.

I work. I go to school. I love what I do, and if it isn't worth doing right - I don't do it. This tends to get me more involved than I need to be, and a lot busier than I should be, but I still think it's the best way.

I study theatre. I am a student of everything and anything interesting.
I sell wine. Pretty good way to pay the bills, I think. When I graduate, I'll be working to carve myself out a career as a theatre professional, whatever that means.
