I am blah, blah, and blah.

My Self-Summary

I'd prefer to not use the chat client on this website. It'd be better to aim me at sylentb44.

If your wondering throughout all my nerdy hobbies if I'm social at all, I would honestly say I'm the perfect balance of the two. I like variety way too much to justify staying in all the time. I'm pretty much down for anything unless it involves any particularly hard drugs.

I don't really feel like summarizing myself, that would take a long time. I generally just live for the pursuit of knowledge and getting a good laugh out of the world around me.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm Trying to go back to school soon so I can be allowed to play with particle accelerators.

I’m really good at

Honestly I'm good at a little bit of everything but exceptionally good at: cooking, listening, reading people, shit talking, two dimensional fighting games, fixing electronic devices, DIY, negotiating, debating, percussion , video games in general ( except racing, wow I suck at racing games), paper rock scissors, monopoly lol.

The first things people usually notice about me

Eyes or hair generally, or perhaps that I look a bit like a smaller Eddie Izzard. Then there are always those people that just have to ask " did that hurt?". Also get asked about the few tattoos I have.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Current books: The Dumas Club, Parallel Universes
All time: Beyond Good and Evil, Art of War, Watership Down, Book of the Five Rings, and quite a variety of philosophical works although I'm not serious about it. I'm quite a fan of Friedrich Nietzsche, not so much his womanizing claims but give the guy a break, he had syphilis and was going insane. I love his obviously bitter takes on older philosophers, it's quite funny to me lol. Heres a few different sections I like:

How malicious philosophers can be! I know of nothing more venomous than the joke Epicurus permitted himself against Plato and the Platonists; he called them Dionysiokolakes. That means literally - and this is the foreground meaning -"flatterers of Dionysius," in other words, tyrant's baggage and lickspittles; but addition to this he also wants to say, "they are all actors, there is nothing genuine about them" (for Dionysiokolax was a popular name for an actor). And the latter is really the malice that Epicurus aimed at Plato: he was peeved by the grandiose manner, the mise en scene at which Plato and his disciples were so expert - at which Epicurus was not an expert - he, that old schoolmaster from Samos who sat, hidden away, in his little garden at Athens and wrote three hundred books - who knows? perhaps from rage and ambition against Plato?
It took a hundred years until Greece found out who this garden god, Epicurus, had been - did they find out?

favorite movies ( no particular order): Beetlejuice,Ghostbusters, Akira, Ghost in the Shell, any Akira Kurosawa film, The Ninth Gate, Seven Years in Tibet, Stars wars 4,5,6, Blade Runner, Dracula: Prince of Darkness etc etc etc

TV: I don't really like tv all that much. I do love tales from the crypt however. Also I grew fond of Eureka recently.

current music:The Briefs, The Cramps, Sleep, Ghostface Killah solo stuff, Wu-tang, Municipal Waste

Food: Damn near anything. My favorite thing to eat is Barbecued Unagi over brown rice. I like variety. I like everything from well made vegetarian dishes to the rarest strip steak you've ever seen. I also like all of my food ridiculously spicy. By that I mean, I just cooked my pork chops with 3 whole habaneros or I just got done eating cheese with serano peppers. Thai food spicyness is a bit weak in my opinion even.

The six things I could never do without

1.2d Fighting games
2.Myself (obviously)
3.Water
4.Food
5.Carbon
6.oxygen
7.smoking and smoking and smoking

I spend a lot of time thinking about

really ridiculous things

On a typical Friday night I am

Either at a bar, or at home trying to figure out which old ass video game I want to play or trying to find decent new ones. Fighting games are a weekend staple perhaps with some 40s.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I have a extreme fear of driving and I'm not much of a fan of riding in cars. Buses/biking/walking ftw. I have a Hadouken from street fighter II turbo tattooed on my left wrist. I wear pants that are far too tight for my own good.

You should message me if

Your not shy to be reasonably upfront. I hate false advertising with a fiery passion.you like adventures, your a nerd and bathe on a semi regular basis or if you just like to have fun in general and don't take life too seriously. I do like to banter about highly theoretical scientific theories. Also, I like to rant about possible solutions for sci-fi related devices and how they could possibly work.
