My story? Well I was born a poor black child...just kidding (I hope
you know what movie that's from). My hero is Forrest Gump. I know
he is fictional but he lived an amazing life full of great
experiences. Some of them were wonderful, like graduating college,
joined the military and gone to war while meeting great lifelong
friends, finding success in business, traveling and seeing the
world, and starting a family. Some were also not so wonderful
experiences such as the death of his "very good best friend",
mother and wife. But that's life, a collection of good and bad
experiences. I'm not necessarily trying to copy his life, perhaps
mimic a little, but I did graduate from a wonderful University(GO
GAUCHOS), joined the Army and met some amazing friends while
serving two tours in Iraq, invested my money in a business(Apple)
and traveled to 4/7(Asia, Africa, N. America, and Europe)
continents in the world.
So who am I looking for? My Jenny of course. Someone to share these
life experiences with. I have 3 more continents to travel to,
hopefully you would want to join me in traveling to them (I'll
exclude Antarctica if you want). I want to start a family, if you
started one already that's cool too, less medical bills for me
(just kidding). Ultimately the only thing we have is time, and I
want to spend what little time there is with family and friends.
That's why we are on this site, to meet friends who will hopefully
Obligatory profile stuff. My friends would say I am smart, loyal, a
good listener, and funny. My Brigg-Meyers profile is INTS. I hope
to make you laugh with me more than you laugh at me, but it doesn't
matter as long as you laugh. I have a good idea of what I want to
do in the future, but remain flexible because life always changes.
Most importantly though, I know the difference between your,
you're, their, there, and they're. I love animals and children. I
used to volunteer at an animal shelter in Santa Barbara (ASAP) and
as an after school tutor at an elementary school. I apologize for
any grammatical or punctuation errors but I was a Math major in
college for a reason.
I'll leave you with my favorite joke, bit of math/stat humor:
Three statisticians go duck hunting. They spot a duck, and the
first statistician fires and misses 3 feet to the right. The second
fires and misses 3 feet to the left. The third statistician jumps
up and down and yells "we got it, we got it!!"
What I’m doing with my life
Finishing my third combat tour, studying to be an actuary and
I’m really good at
Math. Forgetting things, and math.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm the dumbest smart guy you will ever meet.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Doestoevsky, Tolstoy, Forrest Gump, Reqium for a Dream, Blind
Melon, 311, Sublime, any yummy food without Milk(I'm allergic) I
like everything that is good though, life is too short to limit
The six things I could never do without
Family, Friends, My cats, The internet, toilet paper, and a pen.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How am I going to retire, and spending time with my family and
friends. The first and second amendment and arguments concerning
them. Conflicts in the middle east, and our involvement. Also our
foreign policies which I think are essential economically and
politically. How am I gonna help save the people of Afghanistan.
Problems with our Education and healthcare systems. Ideas on
illegal immigration, and abuse of the welfare system in America,
ask if you want to hear them, I would love to hear about any ideas
you may have.
On a typical Friday night I am
With friends, family, cats or asleep.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Anytime the ASPCA commercial with Sarah McLaughlin comes on I tear
up or have to change the channel. I adopted 2 cats and volunteer at
an animal shelter, what more do you want from me?!? Oh money,
right. I also have baby nicknames for me cats, but what cat owner
You should message me if
You like animals, nice people.. I don't know who comes up with
