These things are always like a loaded gun. I'm not sure what to say, but we'll give this a whirl. I'm not your average girl by any means...not physically, mentally or emotionally. A general classification (if a person could be put into one) of me would be the girl next door. Then add a little twist of city girl in there. I am experienced in the relationship sense; however I'm not promiscuous. My wild days are behind me. I am still adventurous as well as sensible. If you are looking for casual encounters...I'm not your girl.

If you are looking for friendship that has the potential to evolve you've stumbled across the right profile. There have been ups and downs in my love life so I am looking to start new relationships with friendship first. Internet dating is brand new to me...dating in general is new to me. So I apologize about being shy and not knowing how to say what I mean to say. I'm not very shy after getting to know me. In fact, I'm a wide open book. I don't hold back my thoughts and opinions, but I am very tolerant of others' thoughts/opinions/beliefs. However, I become very intolerant when those thoughts/opinions/beliefs are intentionally unkind towards other people. I'm a big believer that everyone should see things from the other perspective. The world definitely needs more kindness, understanding and acceptance.

Oh and don't judge me by the below so-called "awards." I am sure they poll from how I answer questions, but some of them are so far from me it is crazy. If you have questions about anything....ask like I said I'm an open book. I answer honestly and fully. There's no other way to be in my opinion. To me...if I'm embarrassed of myself then there really is no hope of ever having a real connection with anyone.

Well I recently moved back to my hometown of Lebanon, PA. I lived in the Pittsburgh (PA) area for 7 years. Loved the mountains and the city life, but I am very glad to be where all my family is. I missed them greatly. I work full time weekdays for a water/sewer company. Best job in the world. It allows me to use the skills I already have and I gain more every day. Plus the people I work with are the nicest around. Then on weekends I work at an amusement park in the area. If you are at all familiar with central PA you will guess where it is. That pretty much takes up my weekend time because all my shifts will be open (9am) to close (right now 8pm, but when it opens for the summer it will be 10pm). I know...translation I have no life. BUT my evenings are free. And as my "self-summary" states above; I am looking to start as friends. I do not want a commitment right off the bat. My potential matches, if serious, should want that also. Because while I believe in love at first sight and all the other romantic stuff I have been burned badly for rushing into tight relationships. If its going to happen I want it to happen naturally. Believe me....you pressure me to start with and I'm going to jet. There you have been warned. I only hope my lack of a free flowing schedule will not scare away possible matches. Chat with me, become friends...when the right connection comes along (and Lord I hope there is someone out there for me specifically) schedules and work and the like always find a way of working out.

Typing really long paragraphs! I actually have a BA in English Writing from the University of Pittsburgh. I love to write and I hope I am decent at it. My professors all seemed to think so. Completing my degree (in four years no less) is my greatest life accomplishment. Now I just have to actually publish some fiction and it will all be worth it.

Despite my size I have great shoulders to cry on. Also, my mom always told me I had big ears. So I can listen and comfort very well.

Other than how short I am.....my eyes and that I am sweet. I am a very kind and caring person. Though cross me and you see the Leo come raging out. Always know that there is more to me than meets the eye. I am deep and complex and more than willing to share it all with you if you care to listen. I like being short too. I've heard all the jokes and yes I will bite your ankles. So see passed my height because I'm so much more than a ruler could ever read.

Oh yay! Now is time for the obligatory EXTREMELY LONG list that no one really reads. If they do then by the time you get to ZZ Top they forgot all about All American Rejects and every other band you named from B to Y. So here is my decisively short list of ABSOLUTE favorites:

Books: Petals on the Wind by VC Andrews (read it 5 times and counting). Plus I'm a writer...I read all the time and I don't have descerning tastes. I'll read anything that I can get my pretty little eyes on.

Movies: The Scream Trilogy. Everyone has a movie or two that they can quote line for line. Scream is mine.

Music: My tastes are as varied as the universe is expansive. If it has a good beat or catchy hook I like it. Plus I danced hip hop for 13 years...good dance music is essential for me.

Food: Love Italian, Chinese, Thai and Indian. Olive Garden and India Garden are my two favorite chain restuarants. However I am not sure if the latter is outside of Pittsburgh or not.

There...short and sweet just like me!

My computer with instant Internet My cats...they are like my children. Notebook/pen combo...never know when a muse will hit. Everytime you don't write something down is a potential story/poem lost forever. Rollercoasters as I am an amusement/theme park junkie...hope you will like to go along for the ride. TV/Books/Music/Movies....when there is nothing to do I turn to one of these. A car...it does not have to necessarily be mine (though that is helpful). Freedom is mandatory.

I think all the time. About anything and everything. Most of it you wouldn't want to know. Most of it I don't even remember.

Some important thoughts I often have though:

Why do car manufactures even put turn signals in vehicles? Only about 2% of the population use them. I was behind a state trooper once that made a distinctive right hand turn....didn't bother to let anyone else know that he was making the turn. And no he was not on his way to a scene. He was just driving and blatantly disobeying the law. Infuriating!
