My self-summary
I dropped out of law school to pursue my love of cooking. I believe I have the intelligence, work ethic, and drive to succeed at whatever I choose to do in life, so why not give it a shot and follow my passion?!
What I’m doing with my life
Cooking, enjoying time with my family and friends, and challenging myself a little bit every day.
I’m really good at
Listening, cooking, being silly, skiing, learning, belly dancing, attempting kung fu, giving incredibly awkward hugs, whispering waaay too loudly, not hiding my facial expressions... I'll think of more things, I'm sure...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Food: I LOVE trying new food, (except mayonnaise and hard boiled eggs, no thanks!) Spanish food is probably my favorite. Warm marcona almonds in a paper cone make me a very happy girl.

Music: I enjoy going to concerts. I listen to WXPN constantly. The last three concerts I went to were Dr. Dog, Lauryn Hill, and Dan Aurbach from the Black Keys. (Outdated, I've seen many more since) Right now I'm listening to Raphael Saadiq.

Movies: I love a good documentary just as much as the latest stupid comedy. Fav films include The Big Lebowski, Pedro Almodovar movies, and Raging Bull. I quote SuperTroopers a lot, it can get a little annoying at times, you're going to need to tell me to stop, and I'm ok with that.

Books: I was an English major, and am still an avid reader, I really enjoy modernist fiction, but am lately trying to read more contemporary fiction. Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Salmon Rushdie, Zadie Smith, and Jonathan Safron Foer are a few of my favs.

TV: Curb Your Enthusiasm, Parks and Recreation, Mad Men, The Sopranos (any HBO series, really)
The six things I could never do without
Family, friends, good music, good food, good beer, a passport.
On a typical Friday night I am
Sadly, I'm usually working on a Friday night. My schedule is kind of difficult for meeting people. I work weekends.
