My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hello. I just started a new gig as a school psychologist in San Jose. Prior to this position, I lived in Santa Rosa. I enjoy being physically active (hiking, cycling, yoga, dance, trail/beach running, rock climbing, going to the gym, etc.), am a health nut, and spiritual. Traveling, fashion, and cooking are great, too. I am a social person and a lover of music, dance, and aesthetics. Overall, I love to have fun!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work full time as a school psychologist, and am pursuing a side career as a mindfulness facilitator for youth and community members. My profession is great because I get paid to help people out and to be a calm presence during tough situations.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I am good at conversation, understanding others, and having fun. I am driven and can go with the flow simultaneously.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books - I love to read applicable books, which usually revolves around self-improvement, spirituality, cooking, etc. I do love mystical books, such as the Alchemist, as well. I am more of a do-er than a reader, but am down for a good book (especially if read aloud!). Sometimes life gets busy and reading goes to the wayside. In regards to movies, I love inspirational films with epic sceneries and messages. Music - love most of it, so I will list some least favorites - jazz, musicals, and honky tonk blues. Did I mention that I love to dance? Food - I am a health nut and treat food as medicine. Usually, I am up for trying most things, especially if it is organic, local, and benefits the planet.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
A clean living environment, the sun, water, salt, life, and music.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Relaxing, rejuvenating, and having fun.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Working out, relaxing, or going out with friends.
