I'm crap at trying to describe myself in an appealing manner for any sort of situation (friendship or other). Do forgive my rambles.

I'm an American living in Alkmaar, I was married for 5 years (I still technically am due to the divorce process taking forever, but my ex and I have agreed that this is it) and I have a 5 year old daughter. I'm a bit of a nerd although I don't look it, and while I do try to stay in shape I am not much of a sport person. I do enjoy outdoor activities like camping, going out for long walks in the woods and the like, but I also enjoy just hanging out and watching movies or having a drink and talking.

I'm extremely shy when it comes to initiating contact with just about anyone but I can definitely say that I am easy enough to talk to. I enjoy meeting new people and making friends, not so sure about dating at the moment or any sort of deeper connection, a bit guarded in that department right now.

I am Humurous, Knowledgeable, and Trustworthy. In short, if I care for you, I would die for you without question, if I care for you I will not lie to you, no matter how brutal the honesty must be, and in short, I believe that laughter is the chain that can keep us together during the dark times.

Not so sure what else to write down, my life is pretty much an open book :P

Trying to get my life back to normal as of late. Lots of smoking, lots of drinking. To be honest a bit bored, wouldn't mind good company to watch a flick or get stoned/drunk with.

I spend alot of time working and studying lately. I spend about an hour at the least studying Dutch each night (on the verge of getting kicked out of the country unless I pass Inburgering). On Saturdays I get to see my kid for a little bit during the day, and I have my fun time Saturday night through Sunday night :P

I'm really good at alot of things, difficult to put them down flat out. I consider myself good at listening, at holding conversations and learning things about the world. Other than that I would say video games lol and survival skills (completely irrelevant now that I live in Holland).

Hmmm well up until like a month or so ago I had really long hair, recently I've chopped it all off (part of me regrets it alot actually) and that used to be the first thing noticed. I do get a lot of comments on my eyes, they tend to change colour depending on my mood. Oh and the fact that I am American normally comes out shortly after people hear me speak lol.

Books: I love my comics lol. I tend to read mainly Deadpool, Ghost Rider, The Punisher. I love reading H.P. Lovecraft, Dan Abnett and William King books

Movies and Shows: I love my horror flicks! I think the latest things I have watched have been Black Sheep, Halo: Forward Unto Dawn, The Punisher, Mulberry Street, Grimm, and gonna start watching Arrow (I have a strange affection for bows, could be why I am inclined to check it out lol). Zombie movies tend to get a big bonus so long as they aren't too horrible (I've seen some really shitty B zombie movies :P). The Walking Dead, Dead Set, Zombieland, and the classic Romero's have been my faves for a long time. 28 Days/Weeks Later was also kickass but I will argue to the end they were not zombies :P

Music: I like it all pretty much, lately I've been listening to a fair bit of Disturbed, Glitch Mob, Crossfade, Eminem, Imagine Dragons, and Iron Maiden to name only a slight few :P

Food: I eat just about anything but Vegan or Vegetarian, nothing against it but I personally must have meat or I tend to get a bit grouchy.

6) My imagination (I tend to enjoy thinking about things, both real and unreal and I do tend to daydream when I have the chance)

I spend the majority of my time thinking of both past and present. Trying to come up with things for the days to come and trying to find a way to bury the torments and joys of the past.I know, a bit of a downer but OKCupid asked :P

On a lighter note I spend a lot of time trying to think of how to be less shy, how to gain weight so I can build better muscle mass, and of course how to save the world :P

On a typical Friday night I am either at work, at home, or hanging out at the Nes Cafe near Dam Square with my colleagues and my friends. On the odd evening we may find our way to Batavia though it is not my preferrred bar really.

If I'm not out on the town then I am more than likely chilling at home, playing around with mylaptop. Occasionally I will just sit and watch some movies, possibly smoke a joint and watch a bit of Stand-Up, I love George Carlin and Christopher Titus!

Hmmm where to start lol. Well for one, I don't like to be touched, not by anyone unless I am comfortable enough around them.

Two would be that I look scarier than I really am (for anyone I happen to bump into outside of the interwebs lol) I'm also a bit of a nerd and I'm a bit of a nut :P

And three would be that I have a history of self mutilation/harm. To be honest, I find nothing wrong with it and I am proud of nearly every single scar I have.

(2)You can handle my awkward shyness, it does get better after a while I swear. I can be a great laugh on a night out drinking or just sharing stories.

(3) You own a whip or cat o-nine and wouldn't mind giving me 20 or 30 lashes across the back (in a completely non-sexual way, it's ummm kind of a long explanation but I figure if someone is interested they will ask lol).
