My self-summary
I figure it's time to update this thing since it's been awhile. I've been in NYC for a year. It only took 9 months to actually get settled here (long story) but I'm very happy I made the move a year ago.
I grew up in the eastern panhandle of West Virginia, not too far from Washington, D.C. Yes, West Virginia is an entirely separate state than Virginia. Learn your geography folks! I left home after high school to attend college in North Carolina. I, personally, don't think I have an accent but between the two states I definitely am prone to use words like y'all and hearing someone call pants britches isn't weird to me.
I studied interiors in college and my friends call me the "trendy" one.
I enjoy being outside. I try to go hiking whenever I make it back to the mountains of home. I snowboard in the winter (when I can get to the mountain) and love the beach in the summer. I've tried my hand in surfing and if I could get more time at the beach I would definitely do it way more.
I like adventure. I jumped out of an airplane over the Pacific Ocean (Hawaii)
I grew up playing soccer and doing gymnastics. In high school I swam competitively.
I have amazing family (one sister) and friends who I couldn't be more thankful for and I feel very blessed to have had the ability to travel and experience the things I have thus far in my life.
I'm ready for what's next!
What I’m doing with my life
Working too much is really what I'm doing with my life...but aren't we all?
I'm the marketing person for an office furniture dealer in Manhattan. We sell your company the workstations and chairs you use at your office everyday.
I’m really good at
Being late (Whoops! But I'm getting MUCH better.), memorizing song lyrics, being grammar police and driving fairly fast. I also like to think I am good at making people laugh...maybe not. Oh and cleaning, thanks to my mom.
The first things people usually notice about me
Um, I'm really not sure. Maybe that I smile more than most people here. I feel like people in the city don't smile much.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I enjoy reading books that are series. Although I did not read the 50 Shades books.
I don't know that I really have a favorite movie (possibly Breakfast at Tiffany's. It's a classic!) but I do not watch scary movies...at all.
I have a few guilty pleasure shows like The Bachelor. I like to watch Scandal, Mad Men, Downton Abbey, Girls when I have down time.
I listen to literally all types of music. Not really a fan of heavy metal though.
I love (almost) any kind of cheese. I also like veggies and pasta and potatoes. Chocolate is also pretty great! I'll try anything once.
I think that I have eclectic taste about everything.
The six things I could never do without
Family and friends... and I'd prefer not to go without my iPhone. I think that's it though.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why I work so much causing me to have no social life and when am I finally going to join the gym and get my ass back into shape.
On a typical Friday night I am
There are no "typical" Friday nights...
Sometimes I work late. (Lame, I know.)
Sometimes I am off to happy hour and sometimes I just want to come home and order dinner in and watch a movie.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I get goosebumps all over every time I sneeze. It's weird.
I’m looking for
  • Guys who like girls
  • Ages 26–36
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
You're at or over the age of 26 (yes I am ageist), you're at least 5'11" (sorry, I'm tall and I like heels!), you're going to say something more than "hi" (let's be honest, that is not a conversation) and think we would get along!
I'm always interested in meeting new people.

Side note: If you're intelligent you will be able to find me elsewhere...
